Your car you can ask whatever you wish for the car and sit back and see what happens. If the car does not sell you just lower the price or keep it.

THIS!! I have said for a long time that my car can be had (04 mystichrome vert 10k) for 50k. Is it worth that? Nope but that is what it will take to pry it out of my garage. If I ever HAVE to sell it the price will change some but being in no hurry I can wait to get the price I am willing to settle for.

i just bought a 1 owner 03 black vert with 6077 miles for 23,750 with new nitto 555s as the stock rubber could not be trusted for ride home. We all have our evaluation of what a car house etc are worth. Bottom line is its worth what the buyer is willing to spend and the price the seller will accept....

I always have my ear to the ground looking for a car. Im not sure if the 23,750 was a good price until the day I sell it. If i break close to even then I have done well. I promised myself id never buy a black car or another vert but 6000 miles and one owner in there 60s was just to hard to pass up.

You should have bought my 17000 mile DSG when you had the chance. When I see a great car I jump on it and never look back :) In this market cash is king as banks are not going to lend against a 15 year old Mustang.

So how much do you think the 2003 black 6000 mile 1 owner vert I just bought is worth? New Nitto 555s 2 miles on tires. Full Bassani exhaust FR500 from Ford racing. Every document you coul imagine. Is this a 30k car in your world?

I bought and sold many as well and I know the market. Yours is black and a convertible, so not the most desirable combination. You’ll still make money when you sell. It costs me more to buy my cobras than it did 10 years ago...but I also sell them for a lot more than in the past. As I said, the market is up.

The market has plenty of cars with very few buyers so the asking price may be up but Im not convinced the car is worth any more then it was 5 years ago. Harder to find a cherry yes but will I pay more or get more when I sell i doubt it.

You got that right, Gerry. It's comical seeing all the high-mileage many-owner 15 year-old jalopies getting financed for five years by people that then throw all kinds of parts on credit cards and then probably make minimum payments. Worst financial planning ever by some.

Great score - again - on your part!

Hi Joe,
The point I was trying to make is the market has cars available and if you have cash in hand the right deal is out there for the taking. Some here think the car is worth xxx which is fine you may find your buyer but I have found a nice cobra is worth xxx and have purchased several in the past 9 years for my offer price. The Terminator market has moved on to the newer Mustangs or other platforms....
