I’m sure their stuff is top notch but I’m working with MM on something currently.
If you’re referring to maximum motor sports, I remember hearing someone say they don’t know much about them besides running behind Griggs at all the races. If your referring to Multimatic, nice!

Good luck in your build.

@suicidekings I totally would but... I have no idea what to honestly do with my car so they're far out of my question. I was just picturing them in my head on that 98 sitting next to the 4 eye... (drool) lol

Heck yea man.

You must have frequent flier points with MM.

I have plans for that already! running in tandem on a closed private session on the track... hmmmm

Its a shame it got ass packed so hard. But still a nice find!

It is a shame, but worked out real well for me!

Got a little gift today from the UPS man.

With a track event quickly approaching the tires that were on the car had saw better days. So I decided to find something that was better than your run of the mill summer tire that wouldn't break the bank. I picked up these Federal 595 RS-RR for $450 delivered to my door. I have a fried who will be able to mount them for me so it should work out just fine.

I've heard good things about MM. Its affordable suspension parts. For the serious track guys you see Griggs or Agent47.

This will be a fun little car.

Holy crap. Another build. I’m in for this too.

I felt the same way, oh crap... another. This one wont be as in depth as the 85 though.

Not sure if you and the other guy on here have an agenda or what but if anyone wants to change my mind about the suspension parts I use by all means, send me the money and I will gladly switch. As for the "serious track guys use xyz" comment, we all have to start somewhere and I will support the companies that supported me when I wasnt shit. I build cars out of a two car garage, im not looking to win Le Mans.

nice looking tires, I'm looking for a set right now and these could fit the bill. I was considering Falken fk510 but appear a bit more aggressive.

Excited to see your progression. It's always cool to watch an affordable and fun build.

Yeah, this one will be far more affordable than my 85 build. This one will be driven, tested, and abused along the process as well. It should be fun to document everything. Im also looking forward to seeing my progression on the track as time goes on too. There are a lot of great people on this forum that I can learn from and I am always open for tips on how to improve on the track.

One problem I saw was the door lock might rattle around

So I took some grommets and put a hole in the center to act as a bushing.

I still have AC in this one so I decided to keep power windows for now.

zip tied the controls

I have maximum Motorsports control arms and coil overs. Love it. I have 300lb springs I think. I wish I went a tad softer for the street. Thing handles like a go kart now.

what seats are you going with?

Since this car is super budget minded... Probably going with some ebay specials lol. under 400 for mounting brackets and both seats.

MM is great stuff. I have 400lb in my fox and it handles like its on rails. Ill probably do the same on this one too.

I owned a full tilt max grip 97 cobra. Anyone who tells you it won’t work is full of shit. You’ll have a hard enough time trying to out drive the car. It’s not an SLA setup but it’s probably one of if not the best for a traditional mustang.
