Can someone point me towards a wideband that will be compatible to use with my SCT x4 tuner and or install a permanent gauge in the future if I decide I need it? Or does such an animal not exits? I was just going to put sensor in the drivers side header that is stock. Title is supposed to say for sct x4 but you get the idea. Thanks

to the best of my knowledge it doesnt matter which wideband sensor you use, youre going to have to go into LiveLink and program the formula for your wideband to log it. So basically any wideband should be fine, I believe most of them now days come with a separate signal wire to tie into your firewire so the gauge still works while datalogging

I use the aem failsafe gauge I believe its # AEM 30-4900.
As mentioned above a formula is still needed.

Humm, still looking and thinking. I know I should add one with the upgrades but, I just do not like the look of the aftermarket gauges hanging around.
1) with the Zeitronix setup do you have the built in data logging to hook to a laptop or with a gauge installed?

2)with the aem failsafe did it come in a kit or do you have to buy each component to install individually? does any wideband hook to it? or ???

My tuner recommended a Zeitronix so that's what I'm using. Not done data logging yet so I don't have any long term opinions yet.

AEM 30-4900 or Ballenger AFR 500? Does anyone recommend one or the other?

Not the answer your requesting, but I ended up using the PLX device.
(SM-AFR Wideband + MultiGauge Link Combo (Gen5))
It uses the newest Bosch LSU4.9 sensor. And hooks wireless to my I-Phone or I-pad for AFR Gauge, really slick and works nicely, and best of all I do not have to have a permanent gauge mounted in the car, I just set the phone in the phone holder when I want to monitor. I ran a second line from the device that plugs directly into my SCT turner when I want to data log. They are working on an app upgrade to datalog the AFR directly to your phone, but, I'm not sure it's out yet.
