A question for cz experts.

Which model should I get and why?

I’m thinking cz AccuShadow 2
Or

CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Target II

I don't know a whole lot about them, but the fastest competition shooter I know personally just bought a CZ Shadow 2 and posted about it, and all the other CZ guys were raving about what a great shooter it is right out of the box.

Tac Sport Orange should be on your list, too.
CZ 75 Tactical Sport Orange - CZ-USA

If you are planning in gun games, Accushadow. I do not believe shadow target is idpa legal and Orange is open class not production class. If not, I like the Orange.

You are definitely on the right track. You are looking at CZ Custom modeled CZ's. I have a CZ Custom Shadow Target (I guess it would be a I). I have had it nearly 3 years now and have well over 20,000 rounds through it. I stopped keeping count. The gun is outstanding and I highly recommend a CZ Custom gun or even a Cajun Gunworks model.

AccuShadow is supposed to be super accurate. It has a barrel bushing set-up identical to a 1911. But...you could save some a couple hundred and get the Shadow Target II and add a 10X barrel bushing from Cajun Gun works for $60: 10X Barrel Bushing For Standard Barrel CZ - 7580X - Cajun Gun Works
Improves accuracy and is supposed to be easy to install. I hope to install one myself.
Another sweet CZ Custom model is the CTS-LS. It is a long slide upper (5.4") on a normal CZ-75 lower, but worked over by the CZ Custom gunsmiths.

If you don't go CZ Custom or Cajun Gun works, the new Shadow 2 is supposed to be really sweet, and the CZ Tac Sport and Tac Sport Orange are also supposed to be great straight from the factory. The new Shadow 2, Tac Sport and Tac Sport Orange have a different frame than the super popular SP-01. The grip ergos are slightly different, some saying a definite improvement. The Shadow 2 will use the same old CZ-75 mags. The Tac Sport models use a different magazine that has more capacity.
Also, there is another model from CZ Custom. It is the BullShadow. You can get a BullShadow in different variations (Shadow 2, Tac Sport, SP-01). It is a really nice bull barrel setup. Not sure how accuracy is compared to a Accu setup or a 10X bushing setup. Haven't seen any real reviews. You can call CZ Cuztom and they can make the one you want.

I like when you and I do not talk politics and just guns.

I am a proud owner of a CZ Tactical sport Orange. I can't say enough good things about it. I have almost hit the 10,000 round mark with not one problem. I recently took a 2 day class with Robert Vogel. He was saying that there is not one gun that comes out of the box with a good trigger. I let him dry fire my gun to which he said "Whoa." Later he commented that he was going to have to get one. The last day he asked me if he could shoot it. After he asked to shoot it, the others in class class came over and asked it they could handle it. They commented that when a gun makes Bob Vogel say "Whoa," they had to see what he is talking about. Several then mentioned that they were going to save up to get one as well.

Wow that's pretty cool if Vogel said that. That dude is a freakin' bad ass.

It was a great time. I did tell him at the beginning of the class that there was one thing that I knew he was not going to help me with. He asked me what and I said "My self-esteem." :) He is def very smooth.

Call Cajun Gun works and get one of their custom models. They waved their magic gunsmith wand over my SP-01 phantom and it became my favorite pistol.

Tell them what you want to use it for and they will hook you up.

Don't know who Vogel is but he does not know shit about guns if he thinks there is nothing that comes off the line with a good trigger. HK p30. Walter PPQ. Sig Legion. Any 1911 by Wilson, Ed Brown, Nighthawk, Les Baer, Guncrafter, Springfield PRO, Dan Wesson. Most CZs. Browning HP. I could go on and on.

I think it was a tongue in cheek statement. I would guess you are not into competition shooting if you don't know him. Here you go:

World and National Championships in the Practical Pistol Disciplines of IPSC and USPSA.

Certified badass with a pistol, and probably some other things since he's also a cop.

Will claim ignorance as I am not into gaming. Responding only to the trigger comment. Guys that say stuff like that usually only have experience with shitty triggers and speak from a position of ignorance.

Well, he is a Glock guy. :) He actually has his own triggers that he sells for Glocks. It will drop the trigger weight down to about 2.5 lbs. It is a def improvement for the Glock.
