Demon vs. 2018 ZR1

Oops I mean 2019. ZR1 didn't have the MPH I was hoping it would have and that Demon is stock. Tires don't mean nothn as far as power goes.

Guys first time driving the car at the strip probably has a little to do with it.

Not the best run out of a zr1. That's for sure.

It can only get better from there for both cars.

I'll still take a ZR1 over the Demon any day everyday.

ZR1 is not broken in. The ZR1 doesn't have DRs. Driver mod for the ZR1. ZR1 would demolish the Demon on a racetrack. I'd still take the ZR1 any day. That wing is not ideal for the drag strip, too much drag. ZR1 is not designed to drag race.

The wing does nothing to slow the car down. It aint makn it faster but it sure aint slowing it down. DR's have nothing to do with MPH.

Drag radials would help the trap speed in this case. Are you suggesting that if I took my 700 wheel Cobra on regular radials that I would trap higher than if I was on drag radials? The zr1 makes enough power that they would help all across the board. This isn't a case of slight spin versus bogging on the launch in a 13 second car.

The Demon driver can drive, ZR1 driver looked fresh to me.

I think tires would make a difference for sure, if I track my car on treads I drive around the water box, so.....

The ZR1 owner said the car didn't even have 500 break-in miles on it yet. The StreetSpeed717 guy was running 10s on the stock tires. That was in cooler Pennsylvania weather, too, though.

Zr1 run .6 seconds slower then GM advertised 10.6 times with less then 500 miles , stock tires and noob driver
Demon run .7 seconds slower then Dodge advertised 9.6 times with race gas , very experienced driver and drag radials . What are the excuses for the Demon then ?

Fastest stock Nitto Demon is 10.23 from what I've seen. Race gas and drag radials are stock...

Zr1 has already gone faster than what gm advertised with a tire, demon hasn’t run what dodger advertised even with a better tire.
