I was considering it, actually. The one that I wanted priced out was quite a bit more than what I ended up with, so that heavily influenced my decision. Also, I really don't like buying new cars and didn't want to wait a while to find a used one.

Makes complete sense, was just curious. You ended up with a heck of a car regardless, so congratulations! And it's faster stock for stock!

Nice ride! Love the color. I shopped Charger SRT8s when I was looking to buy a daily... cant beat the bang for the buck! I ended up with a Chevy SS Sedan... it is the slower car power-wise, but is much more nimble in the handling department. Congrats!

Over Memorial Weekend, I was offered a deal that I couldn't pass up on; a 2018 Charger Daytona aka the land yacht.

I was planning on purchasing a 2017 Mustang PP 6 speed, but preferred the Charger. I know it won't be a popular opinion here, but for me it was a more fun car stoplight to stoplight than the Mustang. For the size, it's damn fun in the canyons. The ZF transmission is absolutely awesome so far.

The SS is a great daily as well.

Nothing really yet. I will probably do the mid muffler delete at some point though.

I think I could drive that. Congrats!

Thanks, it's been a blast so far.

very nice love that color!!! I'm looking at SRT Challengers with a manual, they are hard to find, so dealerships will not budge at all on price

LOVE the daytona 392. I had a 17 Daytona 392 in Tored. What an awesome car. I got lonely for a coupe and ended up in a 17 challenger scat 392. But those daytonas have all the awesome stuff. The HC brakes and the special wheels and REAR heated seats. What a car. Love it.

Not to get too far off topic but..... I think the SS having 80 less hp while getting 7mpg less Hwy is inexcusable. I do love both cars though

The Charger has the benefit of two extra gears to help with that.. not to mention the MDS (cylinder deactivation)... but I do agree the SS gets pretty bad mpg...

My Boss actually gets worse mileage given the same route and conditions.. it (the Boss) was rated at 26 hwy... I’ve never seen more than 21 all hwy... the SS rated 21 hwy gets exactly what it’s rated for in mileage...

Nice 392! Love my Scat Pack. I’d go for the Dynomax Race Bullets welded in if I were you. Sound amazing and less rasp then muffler delete.
