Badcobra I know your car is heavily modified with cams and what not and probably a much bigger turbo than I’d start out with, but what kind of spool time could I expect on a stock longblock 76mm setup?

I’ve seen people say like 4500rpm and that makes me think the car will be lazy. I almost find that hard to believe honestly. Sure our factory low compression doesn’t help.

My turbo fox body would see full boost by 3k easily but that was only 10-11psi on a 70mm.

That was fantastic. Can't believe how well that car stayed straight laying down those tire marks...at those speeds....and then was gone! Badass

Your car is a beast! What does it trap
It trapped 152 a couple years ago, but it's got way more power now. Not really a drag car, has no transbrake. Should trap over 160 though

A 7675 should have good amount of boost by 4000rpm. Works better with an auto. People worry way too much about spool time. Put a good auto in it and turn the boost up and you'll be smiling for days.

What tire are you running? Looked like a handful.
I run M/T 275 Pro's. I go through a LOT of tires lol.

damn boi, how much power is your cobra putting down?
It makes about 1100 on the dyno with only 14 degrees timing. Makes more power on the street.

Thanks man. Some of the posts I read made it seem like the car was laggy when people start talking about 4krpm. Hell, lag wasn't an issue 10yrs ago so with a properly sized system I can't imagine it is nowadays.

Nice, strong Cobra! Once you got traction, it was all over. Congrats!

I liked the rear views showing the tire tracks, too. Fighting for traction! ;)
