Had the opportunity to meet up with a local mustang owner with a Whipple S550 5.0 and it’s Whipple tune. Only thing done to tune was removing a lot of the torque management except for the shifts. My car is a P1sc car with Shelby manifold and full exhaust. Both autos on 93oct. We did a few 40 rolls. After the first run I decided to not rev it out as much and it resulted in pretty fun close runs.

That last run was definitely close. Nice kill. So overall are you happy with the ProCharger setup?

Very happy with it. Just kinda wish it was a D1sc, lol. But I got a great deal on it so I can’t complain. First race was me going up to 7700rpm, full power. The rest I kept it to 68-7000, making it a closer race.

Are you on the base Procharger tune?

No, those don’t really make any power, lol. I’m tuned by Lund.

None from him. My last numbers were 635/487.
Good numbers, I almost went with a procharger for ease of install. Ended up going with a roush tvs. Made 650/560 my last dyno run. Only spin mine to 7100 with stock opg's. Wish you were closer for a friendly run. Hardly any boosted coyotes around me.

Good numbers. Might be a close run. Any track times?

That's moving out, on what tire and any suspension mods?

That was on previous 18x10 saleen wheels with 285-40-18s, now has 17x9.5 F14s with 305-45-17s and bear drag brakes. Suspension consists of Eibach pro kit springs, BMR cradle lockout and BMR vertical links.

That was the premise for my question. Wonder how the other car would run with something from Lund or other top tier tuners.

Yea, would likely be mid to low 11s at best. Local shop has had a few S550s on his dyno with prochargers tune and most were 520-550whp.

Good runs. Lots of orange lol.

We called it the Orange Bowl. LOL

I have 295/40/18s now with the bmr cradle lockout as well. Was thinking of doing vertical links next but some have reported additional nvh. Did you do them together or in stages?
