Was finally able to get my C6Z06 tuned on a mustang dyno in Victoria TX. Pat G did the tune and the man is a genius. She put down 509rwhp and 475rwrq. Thought those were good numbers for a mustang dyno and not having a aftermarket camshaft, what y’all think?
Even tho I don’t have my cobra anymore thought I could post up here.

My mods are milled heads(.020), exhaust ports have been ported, fixed valve guides
Cold air intake, ported stock manifold and no cats on stock exhaust. That’s it

Those are pretty damn stout numbers for a simple bolt-on, mild headwork C6Z! I gotta ask though. You had the heads off, did all that work and didn't go ahead and put a cam in it???? lol

Ahhh I know man lol I didn’t wanna battle the steering rack but mostly dump more money in it. I had just bought it and then I tore it apart in the garage. Should’ve seen the wife when it was down to the block lol. She just turned a blind eye. That’s cuz I told her I wasn’t gonna touch this one lol.

Congrats, but sounds like a Happy Mustang dyno given mods (Yes I know who Pat G is). Only one way to verify dyno numbers, run her at the track!
You think, that’s cuz Pat says this dyno is not that giving. I’ve read where he said it’s consistent with others. But yea the track would tell the truth. Maybe one day I’ll take her out. For now I’ll just cruise it and finally enjoy it.

That steering rack is a bitch, was on my C5Z too. I hear yah on the wife part as well, have had several of my LS cars torn down to the block in the driveway and she just rolls her eyes. I told her I was going to delete the DOD lifters etc. and put a cam in her Tahoe once, she went thru the roof!

Nice Jesse! Strong numbers for those limited mods.

I think my '06 made 485/450 with a ported intake, cai and tune. Everything else factory. I'd say the mild head work you had done was worthwhile for sure, both power wise and reliability.

No cam? Come on a cammed LS7 is one of the best sounding engines ever made.
Car sure is strong for the amount of work done to it. Love the wheels as well.

Thanks Jeff! Hope that pristine whipple Terminator is doing well. I stil have lots of love for them cobras and hope to add one once the kiddos graduate. Best of both worlds for sure. Z06 and Terminator in the garage :)

Lol I kno I kno not sure how much longer I’ll be able to hold out before tearing the engine apart again. If I do I will install the BTR stage 2, mild mid range and easy on the valvetrain. Thanks for the kind words bud.

I like BTR, have probably spent several hours on the phone with Brian Tooley over the years, great knowledgeable vendor! I love BTR cam profiles, even their more aggressive grinds are fairly easy on the rockers, pushrods vs comp cams....its all in the lobes. With all the problems comp has had in the LS world, hardness, finish issues etc..I will never buy anything else from comp.

Those are definitely stout numbers for bolt-ons. Must be a blast to drive. I would be hard pressed to not take her out every day. LOL.
