Been around since 2010 but just lurked. Never felt like I had anything beneficial to post and I hadn't owned any SVT vehicles until recently. Had a 2001 mineral grey GT from 2011 to 2015. Still miss the hell out of that car; best color IMO.

Bought a one-way plane ticket to west Texas back in May 2017 on a whim after stumbling across a black 01 cobra vert for a steal of a price. Car turned out better than expected and I drove it 16 hours home. It was an estate sale car; 1-owner that had it until he died and his kids dumped it. I received the gentleman's will detailing what to do with the car along with the Texas death certificate. Quite a unique pair of documents to get and something I appreciate having because it gives this car a neat story.

Just recently bought a 98 cobra out of Wichita after a buddy that lives there shot me a text about it. Took a gamble on his word and shipped the car home to NE Arkansas. Car looks like it was some younger fella's baby and he couldn't afford to keep it running. Clutch is shot, radiator leaks, but otherwise it's rock-solid. Planning to turn this one into a track/roadcourse car. It's had a hell of a life; original owner totaled it back in 98 something like 6 months after buying it and it has been passed around more than a $2 you-know-what until someone up north rebuilt and re-titled it. Entire front end looks like it got replaced (was originally a front-end impact back in 98). I need to get some good photos of these cars to post for you all. Been busy building a house and moving so I haven't had time to snap anything worthwhile.

Long post, glad to be here.

Cool stories and cool cars. Post some pictures. And sounds like you have a fun time ahead of you with these cars.

What's the easiest way to shrink a file so it meets the size/server criteria? Sorry.
I usually find opening the pic you want to resize up in paint works easily enough. Go to the resize button in the top left area and resize by percentage. I find 50%-75% work best for large data sized pics to get them compliant for posting. Save as a NEW .jpeg file. Boom, ready to post.

If its 100% on your phone, then Im sure theres a good app out there. lol, Im old school when it comes to photos. I upload to PC, edit then post. ...damn I feel old now....
