A little update: I drove 6 hours on Friday night to pick up a used 09 TR6060, put it in the car Saturday morning so the car is back running and driving. The torque with the TVS is fantastic and it’ll haze the tires in 4th gear. The RXT is phenomenal as well. I’m still gonna send out my old trans and have it built as a backup or for resale. Just debating where to go

Good luck everyone going to the stock 14 clutch. I smoked mine at the track in between 2nd and 3rd gear. Litterally went from 100% to 0% on that shift. Car was making around 700rwhp at the time. I have an RXT now. Super easy to push in (Stock sucked) but it's not as driver friendly as stock.

Making 700 rwp and a ton of torque i assume, will eventually wear any clutch out you throw in the mt82

on that note, would you say its just as easy for the throwout bearing to push in the twin disk as the stock?

My car is a 13 gt500. The factory clutch is super hard to push in. The RXT is like my stock clutch I had in my 11 gt500. Maybe even easier

I think the RXT might even be a little lighter clutch feel than the stocker, I also put a new OEM Ford Throwout bearing in when the trans was out which probably helps.

Im definitely going to slap in a RST once my stock one gives! after my stage 3 exedy clutch caused 5 throwout bearings to fail I became scared of any clutch upgrades haha....

please do a write up and parts list -- pricing and even stores. I will be going this route and I am wiling to stock up on the parts til the time comes.
Im doing most of my parts pricing on White Bear Lake's parts catalog:

Genuine Parts for 2011 Ford Mustang|Shelby GT500 5.4L V8 - Gas | Auto Nation Ford White Bear Lake

2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 5.8L V8 - Gas | Auto Nation Ford White Bear Lake

2011+ GT500s: the slave (throw out bearing), pilot and flywheel are the same.

13-14 got different clutch master cylinder and obviously the clutch itself.

So, to "properly" do the job, you'll want the 2014 Clutch (pressure plate), a new slave and pilot bearing. The upgrade is the clutch master.

RJM Performance was making upgraded GT500 master cylinders that were adjustable for engagement point. He was actually on here a few times.

05'-14' Mustang GT/GT500

You should be fine to use the 11-12 master, and the 13-14 would be a good upgrade. But RJM's master seems to be a very high quality performance part. Ironically enough, the 13-14 master is cheaper than the 11-12 new.

It would be nice to have a useful 6th gear and I like a close ratio gearbox.
It’s called a gear swap Snoop, MUCH easier. :)
2.29 first and 3.31 rear would be absolutely terrible. But I hear you on the usable 6th.

Anyone looking, I missed this, but I have a complete 4500 mile ‘14 TR6060 set up complete from trans to shifter to CF shaft and mount and clutch.
I did a Magnum XL swap during engine build to gain SFI bell and direct mount shifter.
My dads Boss LS has a blown 5th synchro and I was saving it for him or my ‘93 Cobra Coyote swap but I’d sell whoke kit.
Great upgrade for any ‘07-12 from the ratios to syncros to CF shaft.
I loved this trans best OEM I’ve ever used.

Some ‘13s had clutch issues. My ‘14 made close to ten 10s passes and still looks great.
Probably due to 4.10s
Did you have gear swap when clutch let go?
