Not sure what you are asking by "what did I gain"?

I went with both Shelby tanks and they were a direct bolt-in and no hoses needed to be cut.

I added Revan racing tanks and were bolt in and then added a Moroso single 'the Tank' kit and modified the factory hoses to fit.
It kept the bypass if that's your question.
What are you thinking? Trying to do?

Give it up Alibi. By the way, those stock hoses are pricey.

As most owners know, the stock hose takes the degas tank out of the coolant flow path.
................( this is why you see no flow through the tank )
When I wanted the 3X tank on my 14, my tuner contacted SVT to discuss changing the coolant path, like it was on my 2011.
My coolant pump is relocated so that a short 90* hose feeds the pump directly from the 3X tank.

In this configuration, I get increased cooling because I actually use the extra fluid in the tank...............Just thought I'd share.

After removing the bypass there wasn't an issue with the coolant flow going directly into the tank and having to many air bubbles? I'm guess not since you have been running this.

Nope it was fine, we checked immediately after install.

We did this about 3 years ago on Alibi's car.

The benefit of the stock configuration is easier to fill with out creating air pockets, it's a fill station not a reservoir. The 3x capacity tank required configuring it just like a 2007-2012 GT500 which makes the tank a reservoir, capable of more capacity. The extra capacity is a minimal gain but he can now keep an eye on flow and make sure the pump is working at all times.

Your larger degas tank with the extra fluid in it, because it is bypassed, is adding nothing to you SC cooling system...................that was the point of the thread..
