In attempt to keep this short, I ordered rims and 2 tires from American Muscle. They were all nice on the phone and assure me these 18x10s with 305 35 18s would fit the rear of my car. Well anyhow, I ordered 18x9x for the front and 18x10s for the rear, I also bought 275 35 18s to be mounted on the 9 inch rims for the front seeing they offer free mounting and balancing. Anyhow a week later my rims and tires show up, tires are mounted on the wrong rims, so I call and sit on hold forever and finally we conclude that I have to take them to a local tire shop to have them busted off, remounted and balanced and they would pay for it. So I get that done and have the 305 35 18s I got from simple tire (awesome by the way) mounted on the rear. I got to put them on, not only do the rears not clear the IRS bolt, they hit the irs brace the bolt is in meaning even if the bolt wasn't there they still wouldn't of fit. So I call and they ask me to take a bunch of pictures bla bla bla, I measure the back space for them and IT IS WRONG!!! they tell me I have to take the rims back and get them busted again and mail them back on my dime and they will send me a new set??? I said how about you mail me new ones and I will send these back but they refused. So they said they would send me some spacers, I wait another week, they sent these cheap made in china non hub centric junk spacers. I just got off the phone, they are not willing to do anything else. What a joke.....Moral of the story is, don't buy from American Muscle Period!!! I still don't even have my refund from the remount either.

For giggles I went on the better business bureau website and looked them up, 22 recent negative reviews and 66 complaints!!!! Damn I should of looked first, I know better than that. Well maybe I can save someone else the problems I went through by posting this.

That really sucks man! I would be furious.
I have heard that they don't do well with customer servive and all recently too.
I have heard that CJ Pony Parts is a lot better.

One thing to keep in mind, their still a vendor here, so tread lightly. Not saying their wrong, but...
Vendor or not, everything is a fact with email traffic, receipts and pics to back it up. If their feelings are hurt, fix the problem, and with it happening to other people on here and he bbb results, maybe they shouldn't be. You would think svt doesnt want anyone else getting screwed over.

I don’t fix problems, I’m only a guy who enforces the site rules and have nothing to do with that crap. I don’t disagree with you, but just giving a heads up.

copy and once again didn't mean to get stupid, been a member for a long time and it is just really frustrating....and back a few threads, I didn't mean "you " fix it, meant them (AM). Guess I should of clarified that. Thanks man and I hope they respond too, I'm still in shock.

Sad... The AM of old would have sent you out a new set of wheels with the correct BS immediately and worried about “settling up” later.

What the heck happened to these guys?

I have ordered lots of stuff for my Stangs through the years from them and have never had a problem. Even when some wheels arrived jacked up, they fixed the problem. Sorry your transaction went south OP. I’ve had absolutely zero negative dealings with them.
