**** my ass.. I would really like to have been able to pick one of these kits up :(

Ok everyone, don't freak out now! ;-)

We had our original 'special purchase' of these Brembo caliper sets and made up the first batch of kits. We expected them to be sold out by the end of 2013 and we thought they did sell out. However, we actually have one kit left because we were holding a kit for a customer without a deposit and then he ended up cancelling it. So at the present time, we actually have one street kit available for immediate delivery. If you want the HD road race version of the kit, you'd have to wait until we get rotor rings back from the plater which should be some time later next week.

We had so many happy customers and so much success with the first run of parts, we actually were able to nail down the ABSOLUTE last batch of calipers in existence at this special price. I originally didn't think we'd be able to get more but we were able to get the last ones. It's officially the end of the line. So that means we have another run of kits in the works right now. We should be able to start delivering from this second batch by sometime in April.

We absolutely cannot get any more calipers at these prices. That is the only item in this kit you won't be able to buy replacement parts for. You could go to Brembo to buy caliper rebuild kits if you'd ever need them. We will however have an ample supply of replacement brake pads, hardware, replacement hats, rotor rings, bobbins and attaching hardware.

So the good news is there are more kits in the works with one kit available immediately. If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to answer them for you.

Everything in the street and road race kits are identical with the exception of the rotor rings. So if you want to take your car to a road course event all you would need to do is swap the rotor rings out. The lighter weight street rings really are not heavy enough for road course duty.

The differences in the two rotor rings is the width of the air gap in the center of the rotor. The street ring rotor air gap is wider and the road race ring air gap is more narrow.

Weights of the two rotor rings:

Street:

Hope that helps.

We have some good unexpected news. We were able to secure a few more sets of these bargain priced Brembo caliper sets. That's the good news. The bad news is this is the last of them. There are no more, this is it!

So if you have been contemplating on getting this kit, now would be the time to make your move. This is one of the best mods you could put on a Terminator.

We are extending the "Save 10% when paying with a check or money order" offer on these until they are gone. This saves us Pay-Pal and credit card fees and we pass that savings onto our customers.

I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the kit.

There are only about 6 sets left. We've also made some caliper mounting brackets for the S-197 cars as well so there are twice as many people looking at them now.

Your total will vary depending on which kit you want. Shipping is $65.00 for the kit.

Shoot me a PM if you'd like.

Just a heads up here guys. We are down to only three more kits in stock. When they are gone, they're gone. We will not be able to get any more of these at this price. This is one of the best mods you can do for a Cobra.

We now have a matching 13" rear conversion with a floating rotor set up to match these front brakes. The rear kit is the perfect compliment to the 14" front Brembo kit. If you want your car to stop like a Z06 Corvette, these brakes are for you.

I'd be happy to answer any questions anyone might have.

Good news guys! When we got to the end of the lot of calipers we purchased and we discovered there was one set of mis-matched calipers. We had two left calipers and didn't have a complete kit. It took a while, but we were able to get two right side calipers to make two more kits. As you might imagine, buying new calipers from Brembo is expensive which in turn raised the price of the kit unfortunately. But, the kit is still several hundred dollars less than the full Brembo kit which is something we are now carrying as well.

Disregard previous information posted to this thread regarding this kit. Here is the photo of the kit in its present form:

FT%209490%20HD%20SN-95%2014%20inch%20Front%20Brake%20Kit.jpg

These are 14" (355mm) road race kits with black 4 piston calipers only. The new price is $2,950.00 (plus freight) and includes everything in the photo with the exception of brake pads. Just because these are the heavy duty road race rotor rings included in these kits does not mean you can't drive them on the street. We can get you a price on street or track brake pads. As a special for SVTP members, if you pay with a check we will give you free freight. This saves us Pay-Pal and CC fees. (personal checks would be held for 10 business days)

These kits are part number FT 9490 HD and can be found on this page about 1/3rd of the way down the page: http://fulltiltboogieracing.com/1999-2004_Cobra_Brake_Parts.htm

Just below this kit on our order page, we have the full Brembo Big Brake Kits. They are 14" (355mm) four piston calipers and come in three colors, black, red and silver. They also come with drilled or slotted two piece floating rotors. (photos may not represent actual product) They run $3,295.00 per kit and is one of the best prices you will find for this kit.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Correct, we now have a four piston 14" Wilwood front brake kit that is available for SN-95 applications. Comes complete with caliper, lines, pads, one piece zinc plated rotors and caliper mounting brackets and hardware. Will there be a package for the 14" Wilwood kits with your light weight 2-piece rotors? 1-piece rotors seem to be very heavy compared to stock rotors.

Well the F-50 Brembo kit we used to offer is a top notch world class brake kit. They used those same calipers on the FR-500C and FR-500S Racing Mustangs in Grand Am, World Challenge and Continental Challenge. They were also quite expensive. The 14" kits from Brembo are in the $3,500.00 price range. We were able to offer them for approximately $1,000.00 less because we purchased the calipers at a great price and manufactured the balance of the kit ourselves.

The Wilwood kit we are offering is MORE than $1,000.00 less than the Brembo kit we offered because the calipers are less expensive and the rotors are one piece. This makes the kit very affordable for Mustang enthusiasts driving SN-95 models.

The owner of the car that our R&D kit was installed on a couple of months ago has commented on how much better the car now stops as compared to the OEM PBR Cobra calipers. He also likes the fact that the front pads don't rattle any longer. He also says there is less pedal effort and less pedal travel as well. Now that he has upgraded the front brakes to our 14" front Wilwood kit, he will now be able to upgrade his rear brakes to our SN-95 13" rear brake conversion kit and his car will be stopping like a Corvette after that.

I hope that helps.
