New guy checking in from Tacoma area

Hello everyone,

Recently purchased a 2003 Cobra with very extensive documentation and build sheet. This is my first Cobra and am happier than a pig in shit. There’s some weird noises I have come across but with some searches on this forum I have found a lot of them to be normal.

Anyways, my account just got approved and I’m sitting in my car waiting for class to start, so eventually I’ll get the mods in the signature. I’m out of the Tacoma / Fife area in Washington State. Stay safe.

Right on! Yes I have the build number (all the documents are at home though). About 99.9% of the work was done at The Mustang Shop in Auburn. I gave them a call before the purchase and asked about the car and all the modifications, they pulled all the records and went over them with me (close to 40k in reciepts) and told me that this was one damn well built car.

What I can say off memory is this:

The last owner rarely and I mean 1200 miles (average) a year rarely drove the car. Might have had a lot to do with the things that were repaired at “tms“.

The car needed two exhaust guides replaced and he basically rebuilt the entire engine. I’ll post pics of three off the receipts I have if I can

I will snag a photo of the car when I get out of class.

Someone spent some money. It should have 7 quarts of oil, not 6.

Also.... either my gas gauge is stuck or this car gets WAY better gas mileage than I thought lol I got rid of my 6.4 stroked 07 SRT8 Charger and it was a steady 9-10 mpg.

Gas guage wont move until 50~ miles from full. Then it plays catch up.
