They're great skinnies man. I wouldn't drive them on the street, but for the strip they were awesome. Not even a hint of wiggle going down the track, and held my car straight using my line lock for the burnout.

Same rear tires with the reinforcements. Im not even ashamed to say that a set of double bead lock race stars are in my future.

I’ve been eyeing the single bead locks

Wow...Lexus...you wheels look downright nasty!
I have no plans on tracking my car nor do I have an extra set of wheels. I'm ordering a new pair of MT ET Street DR's today and this thread makes me wish the bias ply's were street safe...Eeerrrr and in 20" sizes ...NOT ! LOL!

So I'm about to buy new slicks, Hoosier said the new 28x10.5 w stiffwall is the hot setup for what I'm doing, I had the QTP with the DO6 compound and Hoosier told me the softer the tire with a no prep surface it will ball up and act like marbles, I was under the assumption that the softer the tire on a bad surface the better, so we are gonna try it out.
