I don't think anything Tiger did alienated half the country. In fact, I think it humanized him, and may have allowed many more people to identify with some of his struggles.

After reading what you said, I researched it a bit. I can see you are correct, he did donate. There are several organizations that are questionable in nature but he did donate. So he does get some respect from me for that.
I still stand by the fact he handled his social justice crusade horribly. You don't help your cause when you start out by disrespecting something many hold dear. Doing a negative action to bring about a positive change is an oxymoron and rarely works.
He could have used his platform to inform people of what he feels is an injustice and done it without disrespecting the flag.

In 2015, of all the Blacks killed by police, 14.67% were unarmed, in 2016 we see a significant drop to 7.30% that were unarmed when killed by police, and in 2017, 8.76% of Blacks killed by police were unarmed when killed. Of all the Blacks killed by police, a higher percentage of them are unarmed compared to Whites and Hispanics. While we see a decline from 2015, in 2017 Blacks were still 54% more likely to be unarmed when killed by police compared to Whites.

You know Egypt is in Africa, right? What you may not know is that today's watered down admixture Egyptians are still black Africans because they are descendants of black Africans. Ancient Egyptians were not tanned white people like Hollywood loves to portray. I can assure you there were no Elizabeth Taylors and Yul Brenners walking around ancient Egypt. There are dark skinned Egyptians, too. Also, not all Africans are dark skinned. Look at Ethiopia. They are very fare skinned Africans with not a drop of white (or other) in them. Some of them, like you say of Kaepernick, could damned near pass for a white person with a tan.
