ZR1

The cars have similar performance. If you put the same cups on the C6 as the C7, it would likely be a drivers race.

Also, pricing right now is pretty similar for both. I honestly see the ZR1 going up in value from where it is.

Tough call for sure. Styling is subjective, performance and price are similar. I don't know if the C6 ZR1 will appreciate anytime soon, but I do believe they will depreciate slower than a C7 Z06.

I've had a C6, so I'd personally lean towards the C7 Z06. If I were new to the Corvette platform, I'd probably lean towards the ZR1.

C7 for me. New style has grown on me a lot.

ZR1 may hold it's value better, but who knows in a decade.

Tough call, but I am going to say ZR1 as well. Besides those killer looks, that performance is awesome. The LS9 is beast, even before mods or bringing it to Kong Performance. And don't forget that "supercharger window" on the hood. lol
I would love me a 2019 Z07 though. Badly.

C6ZR1 for me. In terms of value I’d give to the ZR1. The ultimate in anything usually generates a lust from people. The ZR1 is obviously the ultimate C6 while the Z06 isn’t the ultimate C7.

This country is full of low mileage Corvettes that people bought thinking they would be worth a lot of money down the road. Unfortunately most of us wont live long enough to cash in. get the one you like best.

Depends really if we are talking about a Z07 packaged A8 Z06 then that would be the way to go if you was looking for the ultimate in performance in all situations, 1/4th drag, Auto X, and road course work. But for looks and exclusivity the C6 ZR-1 has it over the C7 Z06 as the looks of it was copied to the lesser Grand Sport model in 2017.

They only made 4,684 ZR-1's from 2009 to 13 with 2012 being the least produced year at only 404 made.

The only other thing the C7 Z06 has is that you can get it in a convertible while all the ZR-1's was fixed roof coupes except for the 2019 which like the Z06 has both body styles.

C6 GS, then take the money you saved and build a monster. Forge the motor, cam kit, meth, harden the drive line, new fuel system, about 15lbs of boost and a couple of odd other tidbits.

I had 2 C6 Corvettes. First one was an 06 Coupe w/Z51 pkge and the second was my Z06. I loved the C6 Corvette, but the C7 is miles ahead in styling and quality. The interior alone is enough to get the C7. The C6 interior was just horrible. The C6 ZR1 and C7 Z06 are basically the same. The C6 Zr1 weighs less though. My money would go to a C7 Z06.

How would you rank LS9 vs LT4? Which can take a beating?
