Here my fingers are holding the ring on. Otherwise it falls off.

I'm going to look at mine now since it's all out too. No spacer and no ring.

In order
Rxt clutch, centerforce flywheel, backing plate. No other parts beside the bolts.

Hmm interesting. I figured those are there for a reason? Maybe not? Think I'll put that flywheel ring back on.

Yeah for sure. It worked perfectly fine for you for years and wasn't even the issue. but that clutch/flywheel might be a matching set and only work with each other. Could do a little research and picture hunting on it.

I wouldn't add it to your new clutch/flywheel set up.

No that ring isn't reused and isn't stock if i remember correctly. The DYAD comes prebalanced with paint marks to show exactly how it goes together. Dont add anything extra.

Looks like Mike confirmed I don't need that flywheel ring thingy. Did you buy just 1 pair of those 12 ton jack stands? Not sure if a set of 4 would be good idea.

Thanks Mike! What's the best way you guys torque down the flywheel bolts to keep the crank from turning?

I know you can put a 14mm square end on crank pulley. Or I was looking at this.

A prybar or large flatblade screwdriver into the flywheel teeth wedeged against a dowel pin will work. Once you get tension on it with the torque wrench it’ll hold itself. Just be careful it doesn’t fly out

That ring is to set the air gap on the disc by . It will soften the hit of the clutch "slip" in a race set up, also some times clutch discs are thicker and its needed for proper finger hight on the pressure plate. It's not stock and you dont need it...But DONT through it away!
