Wow, this is embarrassing, still nothing. I'm kinda guessing there's laughter on the other end though.
I was at his shop Saturday. He is busy as shit. Works until 2 or 3 in the morning sometimes on stuff. He's a small-time operation that truly produces the best. I don't know if you have ever met him or watch him work but the guy knows what he's doing and he cares about the product he puts out. I bought the kit and had him install it and thought enough of his work that I trailered the car myself 9 hours back to him this weekend to do would most people could get done in their hometown no problem. I know that taking it to him and having him do it it will be perfect and I will not have to worry about it again.

I promise you I know the frustration that you're feeling right now but the smile that gets put on your face every time you drive the car once the kit is on there will make that be a distant memory. There are some items like intercooler cores and piping that he has people Bend to his specifications using his jigs that may come back to him not perfect and he flat-out won't use it. He makes it right.
That takes time

We've never had a 3-4 week turn around. Cars here from out of town and out of state for installs. Business is sustaining just fine as it has for over a decade.

Production is not a problem. Hiring more people will not fix a parts supply issue unfortunately. We waited 4 months for maf tubing and then an unexpected move half way across country. Surely sucked but a year is far from normal. If you don't want to wait, don't buy. It'll let me catch up lol. Blowing lead times are never intentional. We'll have a complete kit delivered waiting for one part unexpectedly on back order.
If you decide to stick it out you'll find out all turbos kits are not the same. Our kit on the same car, tuner, and glide on a mustang dyno just made 190rwhp more across the board, and 250rwhp peak to peak more than a jpc race kit on the same boost level. Install and tune were done by the same two third parties each time. Only change was putting on our kit.

retracting some frustration here, hahaha

A better reflection on the time-frame for myself and others sure would be a welcoming thought. Yes, some might not lay down the money at that point, but nobody would, or even could be in a position to complain.

There’s really no excuse for 6+ months... or even 4 or 3 to be honest.

Find a new supplier of raw materials if that is the issue, or hire some welders, or whatever the hell the issue is, a solid business man can find a solution.

These wait times are absurd especially if you have to pay up front.

Don't take orders for a while? Mention an indefinite wait before purchase? I'm in it for the long haul now though, I refuse to pay another 2 grand for a Hellion twin with all the added parts a twin would bring to the table.

Not going to make excuses for CPR’s wait times. But I will say looking back now I wish I would’ve waited for a CPR kit instead of purchasing a blower that is now up for sale.

I did the same thing. Bought a 14 new and instead of waiting on CPR I put on a VMP. It was fun. I sold the car late last year and got in line for CPR kit before I even had a car to put it on. Had I waited originally I would still have the 14. I must say I do enjoy the kit on my Boss though.

My CPR boss put down the same hp as yours except 100 more ft lbs of torque. That's where most supercharged cars fall short.

Well worth the wait.

My boss is in the shop getting a 6R80. Pulled the Whipple to go Hellion twins next. The Whipple’s instant torque was useless without DR’s. Rains too much in summer/spring here to run them often.

That'll be cool, and by cool, I mean very cool! Even though My plan B might be Whipple because I'm almost starting to hate turbos because of this fun 'ol time, lol
