"Cagers", wow what a ghey term for automobile drivers.
a cager is someone who drives a car. some bikers like to use it as a pejorativeWhat does “cagers” mean?
I'd like to see the statistics that says that per capita.this is true
Illinois is one of the few states left without a helmet law, so I've had the opportunity to try both ways. Riding without a helmet is much more enjoyable, IMHO, as long as you're not on the highway. But, obviously, it's ****ing stupid, too.
In this situation it was the driver. Lady never looked left. This was in a construction zone too.Kommiefornia bike riders are the rudest assholes ever. Can't think of a single state where I have encountered more idiots on bikes than that state
99% of car, motorcycle accidents are on cagers. Just listen to them after the accident. They almost invariably say, "I never saw him". Yeah, because you weren't ****ing paying attention.
. Actually got run into while legally lane splitting by a car.
He took the mature route of getting next to her, hitting her passenger side door glass with his fist, punching her side mirror, and then taking off at 100+.
If it were a case of a few bad apples I wouldn't make that generalization. When I see ONE, just one rider, doing the press limit I'll change my post.
I'm not trying to be a dick. It's that I literally don't ever see a bike rider that isn't a complete menace.
In California if traffic is like 25 mph or less, it is 100% legal to lane split between the #1 and #2 lanes at not more than 5-10 mph over the speed of traffic. What is "legal lane splitting"?
And thus the problem I have with them. They like to split lanes 3 and 4 doing 50+In California if traffic is like 25 mph or less, it is 100% legal to lane split between the #1 and #2 lanes at not more than 5-10 mph over the speed of traffic.
Its a law on the books. Previously, it was a gray issue where there was nothing for or against it.
"Cagers", wow what a ghey term for automobile drivers.
Or too many riders aren't following the speed limits. There's that possibility tooGuess you should probably pay more attention to the road if you've NEVER EVER EVER seen a bike going the speed limit, not being a 'menace 2 society'.
Your generalization is flat out wrong, hilarious, and absurd.
I was just reading a study from the national highway safety institute while getting statistics for a reply that said that rear end collisions account for only something like 5% of motorcycle accidents.Accidents will still happen but by far the most common situation is where a bike gets hit from behind when traffic slows quickly or comes to a stoplight
