Burned out some old gas gracefully, freshened it up with some 91, (all I can get here) & Torco mix to +- 97 and logged about 100 miles. Hiway, twisties, towns. Was good to get the car out.
It still runs, it's still quick, it's still fast AF!! Might do it again tomorrow. Fellow '13, '14 owners, enjoy your gem. They are great cars. Pics are after, the car is dirty.

Car looks great!
Glad you got to enjoy it today.
Thanks. It got a good run down. Aired the bitch out a few times, and pushed it near the limit through the Ozark National Forest roads. Strap in, hang on, DRIVE. Toyo tires are great.
I only scared myself once. Ok, maybe twice..

She's looking really fine, Doug. Nice that you got to have some fun out on the streets. Are those 21" wheels? They go perfect with the great white paint. Nice!!

Hey Doug, good to see you getting her out. Need to maximize any opportunity to drive these before winter comes in. The car looks great. Love your mods, especially those cutouts ;)

Always admired your car and especially the color combo.
Thank you Sir. It's a keeper.

Looks awesome, I love the hood
Thanks! The SS hood IMO is the best choice for these cars. It's the only one that matches all the body lines the way I wanted.

Thanks Bob. It was a blast to rip on it some. Wheels are 20" Alcoas. 10" front with a 275/35, rear is a Eric Vaugh widened 11.75 with a 315/30. Wish I'd gone 12", I've got the room to fit it.
Also have some more Alcoas sitting around, so might be going 12" in the future..

Hey Galen! The exhaust cutouts are a hoot. Loud AF when you want it, quiet as stock with the flip of the switch. WOT, it sounds so damn good. It will shake the pavement. Juvenile fun! Count me in...

One of the finest looking Shelby’s around, glad to see you are enjoying it Doug.
Thank you Sir! You know what it's all about.

Thanks a bunch. I'll have to post up some detailed shots. These pics were after a day of thrashing. Car was not clean. But it sure was fun.
The 13/14 cars are incredible. The power & speed is intoxicating.
I've had some quick/fast cars but damn, this one takes the cake.

Doug, how are the R888s holding up? I know they're getting a little age on them, any change in performance?

Amazingly well John. They've got 5500+- miles on them, still perform as new.
That first pic is deceiving. It looks like the inner is worn, just the angle of lighting.
@675 RWHP I can still firewall the gas from a 5mph roll and hook! On some pavement, usually concrete, it will leave faint black marks but they never break loose. Even with all nannies off. Amazing tire. I took Tag & blackcad55 for a ride @ shelbyfest, hit them up.
Side note: Clay bought a used pair from Alaska. They were really noisy. I questioned if they'd been exposed to cold ass weather, even in a unheated garage?
Another case, our ex-friend idiot bought a used set. Claimed they're noisy...
I've got them on the rear of the Shelby, not noisy. Also on the Orange Terminator front & back. Not noisy.
Will buy again.
