The purple GT belongs to Indy Car driver Graham Rahal. I follow him on Instagram. He's had many impressive cars. Just doesn't keep them long.

I was wondering the same thing.

The boys were following the countdown clock last night. The oldest was writing down pricing and they kept guessing what they would sell for. They enjoyed seeing all of you he older cars. The one that surprised me was the 69 Vette selling for around 25k and the 67 mustang coupe for 26k.

That legend lime 65 fastback at the end of the night was a great deal too.

Those photos bring back great memories of when my son-in-law and I used to go to Barrett Jackson @ Scottsdale every January. What a blast!

Surprised it's on Friday. Usually the big money cars are Saturday night.

good place to buy a car, but I would never sell one at Barrett Jackson. seen too many people lose a lot of money.

I wonder if Hendrick will buy the number 1 GT500.

Its a pretty safe bet. For sure if it was a GM.
It seems these 'build #1' cars that sell for charity often wind up in the hands of the same 3 or 4 buyers.
