Just curious what everyone has come across on the trails in Northern Wisconsin and the U.P. as cool points of interest. Wanna get a some ideas of areas I haven't seen yet to check out for myself and to take other people for the first time......scenic overlooks, waterfalls, bridges, monuments, etc.....

Never been to it. Good time?

Never been either. Supposed to be a great time. They do radar runs that anybody can do. Not that my sleds fast but still would do it.

Most of the places we stop on the sleds are bars. So no recommendations from me. This is about as close as we get. The Musky Museum in Hayward.

Did 400 miles in Northern Maine after the storm last week, got to demo the new 850 Indy XC for two days.

First track >50% of the time, mid week is awesome.

Mid week riding is the best.

How'd ya like the Indy? As a Ski Doo fan through and through, those Indy's are some of the best looking sleds out right now

It was a treat to ride a demo for two days and makes me appreciate and get a real feel for the machine. It needs more ski pressure for my riding, I had the coils maxed and still pushed a lot. I didn’t spend any significant time trying to tweak the track shock so it’s not fair to dump on it too much. They are getting better with the electrical system on this combo, 850 powered sleds get an improved electrical system with a fuse panel, long overdue.
The clutching is well done and they seem to have backed off on the engine braking/back shifting. Thinking that’s why is got better mileage than the 2018 800 XCR in our group.
Fit and finish is still not up to Ski Doo standards.
I like the looks too.
I am moving away from Polaris next go, MXZ XRS 850 129 rMotion the likely replacement.
Great couple days and next weekend I’ll be back on my own iron in VT.
Braap !!!!

Not me. Bud. He's been sledding a long time. Sidewinder xtx isn't the best in bottomless snow.

I'd kill a bitch for a sidewinder!

My old SXR does ok in deep snow...we got 6 today and she was good to go...when it's 18+ of powder she is worthless...then again it need a new track but the pro action chassis sits so low anything deeper than 12 inches and it's work to ride....lots of work...hell 8 inches and they drag bad

Plan to head somewhere this weekend in Southern WI. My ridding buddy is in Mexico so I'll be by myself. Not sure where to go yet though.

Thinking Lake Geneva and getting a hotel. GF can meet me later and we can stay the night. Any suggestions?

Looks like I'm finally getting a trip in. Threw a last minute trip together with my brother in law, heading up to Mercer early Friday morning. The wife, kids, and I were supposed to be in the U.P. for 5 days last week, but that got canceled due to the temps, and tomorrow I have my grandma's funeral, so needless to say, some seat time is sorely needed.

Can't friggin wait
