im trying to move mountains over here. i got a text the other day saying they only had the plates, no rivets. finally they realized one guy had the plates, another had the rivets. doh! then they couldnt figure out how they go on..... its kinda idiot proof. one smaller inner plate that fits through the hole, and a large outer plate that is the same size/shape as that area. and 4 rivets. how hard is that to figure out??
they said they would start shipping them out to the guys who's hoods have shipped out. im trying to find out if that has happened yet or not. you guys may receive them before i find out!
and whatever hoods are still here, they should be installing them on them. though apparently theyre going to charge me for that.
if i had enough extra plates, i would just ship them out myself. i shipped 95% of them to their warehouse to install. but they should be in your hands soon.
i believe im down to one 50/50 hood and a few DF hoods. just had a local guy snag one of the last 50/50s. im sure tempted to keep it for myself in case i pick up another new edge... decisions decisions...

ED finally found the kits i sent them. one guy had the plates, another guy had the rivets. *dont ask*
they agreed to ship them out to everyone who's hoods have already shipped. then they came back and said it would be too expensive to UPS them so they are going to send them via usps priority mail. im not asking to get tracking numbers for every person but i am trying to find out if they have shipped yet or not. its like pulling teeth trying to find out. i would image they would ship out this week. and get there quickly since supposedly via priority mail. i keep hounding my contact and he's hounding his guy but so far we're still waiting on confirmation.

Latch kit arrived a few days ago, forgot to update.
awesome. they started shipping them this week via priority mail im told. i didnt get tracking #s. they are being shipped to the same addresses your hoods were shipped to. so keep an eye out at those locations

Hello guys , just picked up my hood last week from the warehouse. I was like a kid during Christmas lol I couldn't wait to open and see my 50/50 hood. This hood is amazing and it looks awesome. The pictures does no justice to how awesome it looks. Ill be installing it after this rain passes here in California. For those picking up at the warehouse, just make sure you guys ask them to give you the latch plate and yes they'll know exactly what you're talking about. I was about to leave without it but thanks to Steve he reminded me. Here are some pictures of the hood, as soon as I install it I will post up more pictures. For those that have installed the latch plate, How did you guys positioned the C plate?

the opening in the C plate should face downward. im not sure it fits the other way. but if it does, either way will work.
what did you think of the warehouse? did you see how massive it is?? all the parts in there? and did you get the impression its a well run operation? thats what i though. lots of employees doing different jobs. they have paperwork and scan stuff etc... pretty impressive imo. thanks for posting. cant wait to see it on the car. hopefully at FFF? there are like 4 hoods locally in the so cal area i believe. one still sitting at the warehouse waiting to be picked up
