Hello guys, I'm currently running my stock h-pipe with cats and SLP LM1 muffler deletes, I was considering switching over to gt500 mufflers with steeda cat deletes for a little more power. I ordered a VMP custom tune for my boss setup and thankfully they gave me two separate tunes, one for cats and one without. Would the catless/gt500 muffler combo be louder than my catted/SLP Axleback combo? The car is my daily driver so I don't want to go too loud on this setup and attract unwanted attention from neighbors or law enforcement.

No way I can give an answer to the question, but I am running a catless H pipe and stock cat back. It is a little loud on start up , but settles down to a rumble and is what I consider a great sound for little money.
You switch to the gt500 mufflers and cat delete you'll get more sound, but not obnoxious. One of the worst things I did was had the slp with an o/r h pipe, couldn't ride in the car more than 10 minutes, it was so loud and sounded like shit
Update: I went with the steeda cat deletes/gt500 combo and it sounds great, not as loud as the slp's at idle or cruising but it can be as loud when I open it up. I'm running vibrant j-style o2 sensor spacers and no CEL yet, I also picked up a few mpg lol. I'm still waiting on my ported boss setup so I can finally switch it up to my catless vmp tune.
