Is The Mid Atlantic Cobra Assocociation Still Alive??

Hey Folks! Was looking through our old Forum here on SVTP and brought back some great memories. Am curious to know how many of us are still active with these cars and/or MACA folks in one way or another. Can anybody who fits this bill, post on up in this thread? Be great to see who's still around.

So, I guess I'll be the first! Yes, am still around. Still have my 07' GT500. Drag race it two to three times a year. Finally broke into the 10's with the factory Eaton last year. Love the car as much as ever. No plans to sell. But have gotten into Dodge Challengers a bit in the last two years. Just sold my 2014 RT and bought a 2016 Hellcat. Cool car.

I don't have a cobra anymore, just a 2018 gt, and the 92 fox that I've had for 20 years.

I'm glad I still get email notices from SVTP.
I still have the 98, almost never drive it, but maybe when it's nicer out this spring.
I have a Fusion Sport for my DD now. With a tune it's twice the car my Cobra is.

I've been back for the past year and half. I check in here frequently, but not too much going on. I only was at a few events over the years OC, MD, and Johnny Lightning's dyno day and Sonic impromptu time in Morgantown, Pa. Great times. Hoping to see more of you soon.

Still here. My 2001 is becoming a garage queen. I don't know what to do. I think I have a de-laminated rod bearing (lower end knock at very low rpms). It's been that way for 10Ks of miles. I have 85-90% for an Eaton swap but I need to fix the lower end first. I'm guessing about 5K for forged internals. I dunno if I want to go that way. 180+- on the odometer. I probably need a new clutch and other small stuff. But, in the spring and summer, I do like to take the top down and cruise for a couple of hours. My 2004 SVT Focus is my normal driver, but since I retired, my vehicles don't get too many miles. New Edges and SVTFs don't hold the value like Terminators, STs and RSs. I just don't want another loan. I know, I'm a cheap ass.

Mark, I know what you mean. I'm retired 15 months now, and my fillups have gone from 3x a week to every 3 weeks! LOL
I traded in my SVTF on the Fusion Sport. I'm OK with a 0% loan (never thought I'd say that).

Alive and Kicking!!!! Kids, Work, take you away with a quickness. Hoping to get back into a fun toy soon. Down for an event regardless!!!!

I moved to Morgantown Wv. Sold the Cobra an now have a 2017 Gt.

Are all the MACA club members still doing OC events in the spring and fall. Having a house built soon about 30 minutes north of OC and plan on doing those events. No Mustang right now but will be in another Shelby soon.
