I hope so, the 2013-14 had no gas tax and we paid for it with a useless 6th gear and a 3.31 rear gear. Will this GT500 have a gas tax?

just like all transmissions, yesDoes the DCT have engine braking?
Great question!!! I forgot about the stupid gas tax. Will this GT500 have a gas tax?

Thats because traffic sheep leave it in D and coast down hills. Downshift and that changes. Im always downshifting and riding the engine down hills in my 6AT gm work vanI guess that explains why most of the cars in front of me on a down hill run are riding their brakes and I don't have to.
This is nothing new, and nothing to do with the competitionGT500... future proofed?
I haven't read all of the posts... but had a thought about the GT500 HP figures not being released. Would there be a possibility that they don't ever get released as Ford continually run a program of updated tunes and upgrades centrally... kind of like Tesla releasing the Ludicrous mode via wifi, but retaining the warranty or Ferrari 'owning' your FXX . So you could buy your GT500 with 750hp and over time its performance would increase with new tunes, warrantied as long as you retained certified CAI's etc.
Michelin only offers a 315/30/20 in Cup 2's, no PSS, PS4 or PS4s offerings in this size. So unless Ford made Michelin wait to offer a 315/30/20 in a PS4s until after announcing the GT500 there is no the wheel widths/tire sizes will be the same.
It's possible the base model could come with all four corners running 20x11 with 305/30/20 but we will just have to wait and see.
Do we know the official/actual tire sizes yet? dont recall/cant find it posted
Not saying I agree but an interesting take nonetheless.
I took his before and after and giffed.

*Note- I don't know who "Morgan" is and I believe the author meant to refer to Carl Widmann.Unlike some other Ford engines, this example benefits from cast-aluminum cam covers rather than plastic ones. Morgan* said they cope better with the intense heat coming off the nearby exhaust system than a composite material would.
I've also been looking for more Gurney Flap photos with it attached to the "Swing" spoiler. I have a couple that I've posted but I just realized that Ford flashed another glance of it in the video game preview they did at the live reveal in Detroit. Best crop I could make and this is with some shake reduction I did in Photoshop...
