Do you care about resale value? If so, gt500 all the way.

If not, save some cash and buy an already boosted 15-19 Mustang GT.

I would think that anybody that would consider a C6Z would not care about the 4 doors on a Charger but they might after owning one, or anything else sporty with 4 doors.

beware these guys talking german. you will need to keep $15k in reserve if you ever need to maintain the thing. good luck with whatever it is going to cost to repair the shit that will break on a $40k S6 or 911.
Agree. No doubt German cars are fun to drive have and have great performance (I drool over a 911 Turbo). But hell to the no would I ever want to own one. I had a 1991 Mercedes 420 SEL. Was a wonderful car, but for a beater S class would cost over $5000 to fix. I cant even begin to image the price tag on a MODERN German performance car.

Would be a daily, so the terminator or Z/28 probably wouldn't cut it.

C6Z is always comes to mind for best value...

LOL Z28 for DD. Hope all your clothes are made of technical fabric since it does not have A/C and bring your kidney belt cuz the ride sucks. But other than that it is awesome.

I had an A6 in which the heater core leaked all over my ABS computer, frying it in the process. Besides almost killing me when the brakes stopped working on the freeway it cost me $6700. Never again.

OP do you have kids? I couldn’t get away with two doors. Baby seats make it a deal breaker...

I would replicate what I have. It's a 12'/Premium/6R80 car that I bought it in early 13' w/2,400 miles on it. It's a Jekyll/Hyde deal for sure. Tame and purrs along, yet has been 8's on Welds.

I've been playing with these cars since the mid 90's and have never been so content.

If I only had 45k to spend and didn't have to worry about winter weather, I would say a nicely built, low mileage 2018 Mustang GT.
Or, buy a brand new one like the one listed above in post #53. It'll be brand new and still have a 3 year warranty.

It's downright frightening. It's everything I liked about the ported Gen 2, but this one also builds more boost with rpm, so the pull starts out scary and the terror builds with rpm.

Come to Indiana and I'll take you for a ride.
