Hello all,

I am new to this forum. I have been debating for a few months now on potentially buying a 03/04 cobra or a 10-12 gt500. My wife would rather me get the 10-12 since she likes the appearance better.

I was really looking into a 11-12 due to all well known reasons.

However, I have stumbled upon an early built 10 vert grabber blue w/white strips and nav. It does have 82k miles though. You can also tell it has been driven there is slight wear on the interior and exterior nothing major or anything that couldn’t be revamped with a deep clean and paint correction. It have a borla exhaust, aftermarket tb, smaller pulley, and short shifter.
It seems to pull well and ride smooth considering it’s basically 10 years old.

I’m not sure if I should wait and pick up a cleaner 11-12 for low 30s or go ahead with this I have him down to 25k and not sure if he’s going to budge anymore then that. It’s a used local used lot and has had the car for nearly 4 months.

What advise or suggestions does everyone have?

So no one would recommend going ahead and purchasing the 10 mention above for 25k?

Seems that everything is pointing towards waiting a tad bit longer n going for an 11-12.

As an owner of a 2010, if i would have known about the recaros before my purchase, i would have bought an 11 or 12. Other than that, it doesn't really matter.

I don’t mind having a convertible or even potentially getting a 10. My main factor is wanting to get 1 for a fair price in good condition. I am fine with a car needing some attention also.

That’s why I originally was asking if the car is fair purchase price for 25k or does anyone think otherwise? Still to high for what the car is and the miles condition it’s in. Or is a great deal and I should jump on it since it under priced.

If 25k is your spending limit then the 2010 will fit your needs. If your willing to spend 35k 2010-2012 low mile gt500 are available

Yea, if I want to get 1 now I would need that price range or wait until the end of the year to want to go over the 30k range.

Just not sure if I should wait n see if I can get him closer to 24k or wait for later in the year.

Your not gonna be seeing 11-12 gt500 dropping to 30k with low miles by the end of the year. 50k miles sure youll be able to be about 32k even at the end of the year.

If 24-25k is what you want to spend then yes that 2010 is worth the price. Its a savings of 10k compared to a 11-12 low mileage gt500. The 2010 was Not a bad year. Reliable and still makes good power easily. If you had plans to mod the car change seats ect then take the 10k savings by the car and use the money you would of spent on things you want to do to the car
