Tracked it down and bought it back after 3.5 years. It has 400 more miles, a car cover, and fresh wax after sitting in a climate controlled garage the whole time. When we sold it the CDs jammed in the 6 disc and the guy kept those too. Freaking time capsule!

Shane car looks great! That engine bay is impressive! Cant wait to see it with the wheels.

Hey Steve! Thanks. Yes, we'll see on the wheel package. I like the OEM look of the machined wheels, but I thought I'd take a stab at a set of chrome anniversaries to brighten things up and tie into the polished engine bay and rear exhaust. 275/ 315 17" nitto drag radial combo. Of course I had to get new SVT center caps to keep things straight. I'll have them by Friday and, if I get good weather, I'll post up some pics. Love your CCWs BTW, but that's an investment for me at the moment. I assume you still have your coupe.

That’s awesome! Do you know who you sold it too? What was involved with tracking it down?

Yep. I traded it into a dealer (a SVTP member is the gm there) and told him I’d probably want to buy it back one day so keep me posted on it’s whereabouts. Local retired guy bought it, he lived about 6 miles from our old house too. Wife and I wanted to get back into a mustang this spring so I emailed my buddy and got this guy’s contact info and the rest they say is history

are you going? from what I understand, this will be the first time that it's not going to be held at Knott's Berry Farm
Yes sir. And you would be correct. It's at Angel Stadium this year. I've been showing since 2006. Can't miss it now.

Intercooler piping is just about done, glad I found a great fab guy that concentrates on one vehicle at a time. These pipes are now at the powder coater getting a wrinkle black treatment. Exhaust is next, have a full JBA 3" setup ready to go on but I need my fab guy to make me new 3" intermediate pipes and weld the catback together with new 4" tips.

Didn’t work on the 03 today but did put a nice polish on some pretty rare billet Boyd wheels. 2 piece welded junk yard dogs. Boyd sure did make some nice stuff!

My resistance to keeping the stock machined wheels on the Cobra caved today. I installed a new set of chrome 10th Anniversary wheels. I'm pretty happy with the new "classier" look and it seems to work well with mineral grey.
