So I have been using SCT PR for years, my car runs fine... I've tweaked a lot of little things over the years. But with all this BS going on with SCT, I think its time to find a new platform to sustain my self tuning capabilities on my 2004 Cobra.

I was looking at the Moates Quarterhorse thing. Looks like a good alternative for older pre can bus cars like an 04 Cobra. I DO NOT want to start over from scratch though. I don't have the skills, dyno access, to start with a stock AMZ1 image and get it to where I have it now. Is there a way to pull my modified image off the ECU and then load that up into ECU editor somehow?

Any other alternatives?

Down the road I might make some mods that require MAF changes and stuff, but mainly the only thing I might tweak once in a while is my stoich setting because I got an odd blend of E85.

I think with the Moates you can pull the current tune and look at it. Or maybe that's the Mongoose cable. Either way I think @decipha can help you.

Binary Editor with a mongoose cable can pull your current tune as well.

thats a lot more expensive and doesn't have anywhere near the datalogging support the qh has nor can it do realtime tuning.

Thats like paying more for a used tire when you can buy a new one cheaper just doesnt make sense.

Decipha - would you mind compiling a quick recommended list of hardware/software you need for the Quarterhorse. I for one am a little confused on what you need for software... Moates website is a cluster ****.

Also if you can recommend a wideband that works best with this setup. It sounds like moates was recommending the LC2 because you can get a digital feed for data logging off the wideband vs analog voltage outputs.
