Makes sense, I’m just trying to get some carb stickers for my Whipple because I live in California lol. I need a serial number from someone who bought a FRPP 750HP kit so that Whipple can send me some carb stickers lol
Give whipple a call they will be able to mail you some. Might cost a couple bucks

I tried that already but they asked for my supercharger serial number and when ran it they told me my supercharger was originally sold as a tuner kit (Bare supercharger only) so they couldn’t send me a carb eo sticker. I’m trying to find someone who has a FRPP 750hp kit so that I can get the serial number off of that one and call up Whipple again lol. California sucks haha

So you're publicly asking for help committing fraud/emissions violations?

good plan.....

Do you have the receipt or any paperwork for it? I don't think Whipple's database is always up to date. I called them once about a rebuild or something and when the guy ran the serial he said it was for a big block Chevy. I told him no because the blower came off an 04 Cobra.

Committing fraud? Lol I have the same kit just not the FRPP package. It’s still a 2.9 Whipple with a ford 65mm throttle body and intake. I just pieced it together and didn’t buy it as a package that’s the only difference. I’m not putting carb stickers for something and running something completely different, it’s physically the same parts.

Without the ford Procal and the ford tune is is not the same. Its really the tune that gets the sticker as its been tested to pass emissions.

But really I dont have cats so I dont really care, just pointing out its not the same thing without the approved tune.

No, it's not the same thing. Ford Racing provided their "certified" calibration with their kit. Whipple had nothing to do with obtaining an Executive Order and doesn't offer it with their kits. It isn't a cheap endeavor and adds cost. Ford used a Whipple supercharger to develop their kit, but Ford is the one who spent the money to have the calibration tested to insure emission compliance with the California Air Resource Board Act; whereby, they (Ford) were issued the executive order. Make no mistake, what you're doing does not comply with C.A.R.B. and does not qualify for that E.O. Why do you think Whipple won't give you a sticker? It's not theirs to give. They are acting as an agent for Ford.

Thank you everyone for that, I thought it would be the same thing since I physically have the same hardware and don't want to spend a ton of money/time finding a FRPP Kit and swapping it or returning the car to stock since I bought the car this way already and don't have the stock supercharger. Didn't come here so everyone can give me a hard time I just wanted some help getting my car california compliant.

I don't fault you for doing it, just the public nature of the method.
