Week off...bass boat is hooked up!

I got the while week off and gonna fish all week...wife isn't impressed but I really don't care! Lol boat hasn't moved since Oct but she is gonna get some love for the next 7 days straight. Unlike my wife my boat doesn't know the word "no"

sucks it's 37F out but that's why I have 500 bucks worth of gortex bibs and parka on board lol

Hope it's a yamaha if it hasn't moved since October. Otherwise you'll be floating whistling tunes to yourself as you think "Oh no, why did I buy a Mercury"

Went to all three of my local lakes and they are all closed from the heavy rain from friday...guess I'll clean and polish the boat today and head for NY tomorrow morning

Mercury pretty much has a monopoly on the outboard engines with their 400r.

Merc is certainly the most popular outboard and why not they cost 3k + less than Yamaha and Evinrude in classes over 115hp

Lake still closed, so I hooked the ears up to my mighty yamaha and ran her a bit today...then I grabbed a fer rifles and pistols and went to the family farm and spent some lead...not a bad day

I’ll be putting the boat on the rack soon for spring maintenance, then I’ve got a couple remote beaches I want to try.

I got the boat on water today...conditions were shit but I atleast got to make a few laps and get the motor cleaned out.

When I get back from vacation boating season starts.

Life couldn’t be better.

I gotta call my guy and make an appointment to bring her in for Summerizing. No rush since the river won't be down until mid to late May.
