Based on your questions and responses, I would recommend getting the best '03-'04 Mach 1 that you can find and put a ProCharger kit on it.

(ProCharger Ford Automotive Systems | ProCharger)

You mentioned that you are disabled. Does this have any affect on driving, such as needing an automatic transmission?
Thank you for the link and advice! Re disabled: no. I would not need an automatic, which is good. I'd prefer manual anyways.

I'd go for a Mach 1 or 03-04 Cobra. The Cobra was out of my price range, I ended up getting the Mach 1. I love the shaker and I like the fact that you don't see them all the time.

Mach 1 has my vote, I might be biased though. Only things I want off an N/A Cobra are, ambers, front bumper, and the instrument cluster for my future 2V. And IRS but I already have one for my Mach out of a Terminator.

Pick your poison.

Goals on the car? Budget?
Goal: something reliable enough to drive whenever and wherever I want, still relevant, would like to make 350-400whp, don't want a project.

Budget: I'm in the research phase of what's out there and what is or is not a good idea.

So...... no budget.

Well that’s definitely important.

You probably won’t find a terminator for that price, but you will be able to find a decently clean 11-14 coyote car, and possibly with forced induction.

I was thinking that was a possibility at that price point. Then, the question came to: why not get am '11-'14 if they are at that price point. Yes, I know the termi has a better bottom end and are more collectible, but I'd be fine with the hp range of a stock coyote and I don't care if its a collectible or not.

In the last 5 years, I bought a brand new 2014 mustang which I loved. I added a Paxton blower then went with twin turbos.

Sold that car and bought a 2007 gt500 and modded it to about 650whp. Fun car and loved the low end torque but missed the coyote.

Bought a 2018 mustang and installed twin turbos.

Don’t plan to sell this one any time soon... i love it

You've probably surpassed my $15-20k budget with those transactions. =)

I vote terminator, if anything get one with higher miles have a compression and leak-down test done. Forged engine already at your HP goal, just a pulley away to turn the wick up if need be.

I also vote for what @gimmie11’s said 11-14 5.0 they can’t be beat either.

very different Cobras you have listed. If you want top power, 03/04 hands down. If you want much cheaper and affordable... then go 98 cobra, but it's way less power. Really depends on your budget. And your power goals. All cars you listed will be fun to drive and fun to mod.
