My daughter is 22 and still lives at home while she goes to college. Her first boyfriend was kind of a jerk so when she came home crying that he broke up with her a couple of years ago I was sad she was hurting but relieved that I would not have to go through refusing him if he asked to marry her.

Enter boyfriend #2...
The tall Marine/Secret Service dude on the right saluting and waiting for President Trump. I don't have to vet him and he really is a great guy. I like him.

6'5" 240? You might have a first round draft pick grandchild man

He has the "tight end" build, all shoulders, upper wide back, thick arms and narrow hips.

My son is 6'8" throws 96 mph and got signed by the Dodgers (released now and working out with the Mets) while his wife is 6'2" and in the softball college hall of fame for pitching. My daughter is 5'10" and Duke offered her a Lacrosse deal but she declined (don't want to leave her horses, she races). Athletes everywhere.

Active family Mikey. If your daughter is happy, that's all that matters. How did she meet him?

Semper Fi and congrats. It makes me smile to see everyone happy.

My daughter is 18 and has a boyfriend I truly do not like. There is absolutely nothing I like about the kid or his family. He isn't a bad kid, but I don't see any potential in him. I don't see any drive or motivation to move forward and excel in life.

Add in that my daughter is afraid for him or his family to be around me; they may be insulted, intimidated, or melt in some fashion.

I will ask my brother to send over a couple photos. He had the opportunity to serve that detail under Bush.

He drives an Escalade when he's here and has an AMG E55 in DC but after driving my blown Mustang wants to build a blown Marauder.

My wife is a Marine so it's all very cool. I was drafted Army 1971 and did not get married til I was 30.

Good stock

Best of luck to your daughter and new bf (as well as your pitcher boy)
My son got signed by the Dodgers in 2016 and made AA Tulsa but got released along with three other first round drafts (they dumped the whole bullpen in 24 hours). The manager was furious, the scout who signed him was furious but no one knows why the front office did it. They dumped three first rounders, two with seven figures and one with a six figure signing bonuses (my son had gotten a $96K signing bonus as a free agent).

My son is now 25, was the set up man for the closer, threw a 94-96 mph fast ball and 85-92 mph slider with a 77-79 mph split finger. His sliders had 21" break right with a 3" drop and a 16" break left with a 10" drop, split finger dropped off the planet. Anyway his contract expires in June but a Mets scout is working him out three days a week and maybe they'll make an offer, there's also an agent who wants him under contract so we'll see (I can't take this anxiety).

Thanks for the interest guys, I appreciate it.
