Self employed, I get up when I want and work when I want.

If I want to take a weekday off, I do. If I want to work the weekend, I do.

That being said, 99% of the time I’m up by 645 am and out the door by 730, and it’s only a ten minute ride to my shop.

Workout days I'm up at 4:30 and at the gym at 5:00.
Non workout days up at 5:20 try to get to work around 6:45.
When my daughter has morning practice I take her to that by 6:30 then go to work.
Take my son to school on Fridays since I'm off on Fridays.

I don't think my days ever really end.

Sent from my [mind] using the svtperformance.com mobile app

That's how my days seem.
Usually up around 7am, out the door in <15mins and headed to the office. Head home sometime after 5pm.
Normal week if i'm home in Kansas I'm in the office ~45hrs a week, with another ~20 working remotely from home for a second employer. I'm on call 24/7 365 supporting people at two companies over 2 states in 20 cities/sites. I get some trouble calls in the middle of the night, and the days really blend when that happens since I have a hard time getting to sleep after "spooling" up my brain.
If I ever go on vacation it's guaranteed I get a call at 3 am and have to remote in and fix something. (last vacation was in '15, I don't get paid vacation) When I'm in Colorado I'm usually working on setting up a new store. Doing 12-15hr days (before driving.)
Thankfully here in Wichita, so long as there are no wrecks I can make it to the office or home in roughly 30min even though they are on opposite sides of town ~18 miles mixed city and highway each way. A wreck on Kellogg (54-400) can add 15-20min

GF and I are up at 6 everyday and we're both passed out by 10pm also. And we both work 6 days a week for the man as we get raped in every form possible in our state.

Since this is SVTP I am surprised somebody hasn’t stated they get up at 1:00AM, work 18hrs, then do charity work before sleeping 2 hrs a day.

As my Dad used to tell me, "You can sleep all you want when your dead, now get to work."

I get up around 6am and head out the door around 630. I try and work out 2x during the work week. On weekends, I hit up the gym 8:30a or so.

Last Job:
Up at 4am
In the office 5am to 6am depending on workload
Leave anywhere from 3pm to 5pm
Work from home until 8pm-11pm depending on workload
Did the 12-16hr day routine for 3 years straight and it nearly ruined me
Averaged 65-75hrs per week, topped out at 114hrs

New Job:
Up at 4am
If it's a Monday, drive for 80 minutes to be in the office at 6am
Work until 3:30pm, drive home for 2 hours since i85 is an absolute mess in the afternoons
Rest of the week, 7am-5pm from home since there are often late afternoon meetings. If I "clock out" early one afternoon, I make it up by starting early the next. Working from home is honor system. Even though I'm straight salaried, it'd bother the hell out of me if I didn't keep it even.
Averaging 45-50hrs a week

Curious, If you don't mind me asking, where did you work before? PM me if you want

Get up for good at 7:30, at work by 7:50. Due to sleep insomnia I wake up multiple times throughout the night. Sleeping pills help some, but I always wake up exhausted. Drowsiness doesn’t wear off til about 10:00. If I didn’t take sleeping pills I would be wide awake at 3 in the morning and not an ounce bit tired.

Wake at 5am
Gym by 5:30am
Home from gym by 6:45am
Help get kids ready for school and I get out the door to work by 7:30am
Work from 8am - 4:00/5:00pm
We usually have something going on in the evening (football practice, basketball practice, etc.) until 6:00/7:00pm
Homework and dinner: usually wraps up by 7:30pm
Relax as a family until 8:30pm (kids go to bed)
SVTP patrol/Youtube videos/watch TV with wife until I zonk out (earliest is 9pm)

I love summertime because the kids' schedules are not nearly as busy. Three more weeks of school and then it will feel like I'm on vacation too because the responsibility is much less!
