What brand line lock do you recommend for a 2011 GT500? Also what size and brand tire to put on my 15X10 Racestars?

JPC Line Lock is a nice kit. Tires depends on what type you are looking for, Bias Ply or Radial.

Thanks for the advice. I was leaning towards the JPC unit but I just wanted some honest opinions.

Need way more info on helping you with tires.
For track only, Street only, both.
Power level, gears, use.
But 15x10x give a tone of options.

Have had a JPC unit in my car for about 2.5 years now. Had some trouble with initial install, JPC replaced with no hassle. Excellent customer service.

Works just as expected, every time. Hell, sometimes Ill use it as a brake hold if I catch a long light.

My last track appearance back in Aug 2018 I experienced a line lock issue with my JPC kit. Unless I'm at the track it doesn't get used so I wonder with long periods of non use whether the solenoid can f up. On 1 run I smoked my front brakes down the track since the LL didn't fully release when I turned it off after my burnout I wasn't too happy with that.

I didn't have a good outing that time since I also had the BS shift grind/lockout issue with my modded stock shifter. I have since added the Gen 2 MGW and Blowfish bracket so I need to make an appearance back at the track to try this setup. I have yet to deal with my "possible" issue with my line lock so I will take a look at that sometime or just do the burnout conventionally till I resolve it.

Do they sell just the solenoid separately?

Whatever line lock you go with make sure the switch is a “momentary” switch, so you know the line lock is never engaged unless you have your thumb on the button. Easy to get confused with the clicker type. I have seen some people add indicator LEDs, as well.
