Here is the ’20 GT500 on the road in Race Red.

The GT500 debuted back in January, and Ford stated that the GT500 will be “capable of mid-three-sec. 0–60-mph and sub-11-sec. quarter-mile scores, Shelby GT500 features the best Mustang track times, the best cornering and the largest brakes of any domestic sports coupe, thanks to tech transfer from Ford GT and Mustang GT4 racing programs.”

The GT500 is expected to hit dealerships this fall. It will also be available in Grabber Lime.

Something tells me they are waiting until the C7 numbers are released so they can try and take the thunder away

You mean C8 I'm assuming. The GT500 numbers will be way higher than base mid engine Vette. It will be interesting which is more expensive with ADM's.

Top dog mustang always command higher ADM. The base model vette plummets big time. Also the c8 will be a completely new platform, i would not buy the first 2 or maybe even 3 years of that car. Im thinking they release the c8 z06 two years after the c8.

I really really want a C8 around 2023. But also kind of want the 500 to have the 13’ and a 20’. I hope Chevy really does come out swinging with it.

Man I'm right there with the other guy that said with each picture it grows on him more and more. That thing looks sweet in red. Like the others stated, the stance is damn near perfect.

Dude I need to hit the damn lottery.

You can bet long the Dealers will command a $20-25K Premium for the first ones, happens every time a new model hits.. I found a 2014 GT500 for sale @ a dealership, will not budge off of sticker. it's been dusted off so much, probably has spider web scratches in the clear coat....oB

WHERE ARE THE SPECS FORD?!

You're a comedic genious. I have to laugh at your question (as I ask it regularly as well). If I don't laugh, I'll cry.

The more I see it the more I love it. That's a great color on that body but the best I've seen is the silver surprisingly....I'm not a silver guy. I'm surprised how close to perfect the stance is coming from the factory.

I'm right there with you. I said "no way" to silver and redfire Terminators back when I was getting my screaming yellow, but I think the silver and dark red GT500's that debuted at the reveal were incredible!

Thats a beautiful car right there. Though, I admit, seeing the 15-17 headlights throws me off a bit. I understand why they went with the 15-17 though.

Still, bad ass Shelby.

It looks awesome and it will be a fast car, but will be too pricey for me.

Has anyone posted that the starting base price is $69K? I saw that reported and thought it was on here.
