Is there a way for us to disable that annoying little shift light? I searched the forums and the only mention I can find is in the '03 Terminator section and it was done by having an aftermarket programmer disable it with a chip. I was wondering if there was a way we could disable it ourselves. I have an early version of AutoEnginuity with the Ford enhance bundle that I use for diagnostics on my Superduty, but I have not hooked it up to the car yet.

As far as I know, it can only be adjusted with a tune because it is a PCM parameter. Most diagnostic tools can't adjust PCM parameters.

Are you talking about the fuel economy light that comes on around 2k rpm's or are you talking about WOT shift light?

After getting my car tuned by Lund the economy shift light no longer came on. The WOT shift light is user programable through the info dash button located to the left of the steering wheel.

Yes, I am talking about that little up arrow fuel economy light in the cluster on the bottom left. I have adjusted the SVT shift light and tone to my liking, I just really don't like the up arrow reminder.

Yeah, that shit is beyond annoying. Get your car tuned and they can get rid of it. It’s the only way

Well, as soon as I get that supercharger and new injectors off the 5.8, and the new FRPP throttle body, I am going to give you a call and get this thing tuned by you, so we can set it then.
