get rid of those things .. pretty worthless and they are bolt in. get yourself a set of full length weld on and put a matrix brace on with some jacking rails View attachment 1575912

Tell me about it. I made a brief effort a couple years ago. I asked a couple places about installing a set of stifflers. One shop said they didn't have the welding equipment for those steel thicknesses; one shop said they only had two post scissor lifts; Livernois Motorsports quoted $1300 for the install (not a typo); I asked Alternative Auto about 7 years ago to do a simple set of MMFLSC, and they said they farm it out to someone else (I don't remember who they said).

I don't know much about the welding equip needed for welding things to the frame, and I get it about the lift because I would prefer it done on a four post alignment lift. As far as Livernios and Alternative, it was probably their own way of saying the job was too small for their workload. If anyone has a strong recommendation for someone in metro detroit area that would do a full stiffler kit, let me know :)

Find a way to back onto the ramps. Do the project on your driveway if needed. It won’t take long. When I’ve back onto my ramps, I pull into the garage, leave the door open, use the lip of my garage floor to hold the ramps and then back onto them leaving the ass hanging out of the garage. If your wheels aren’t blocking the sensor, make sure everyone knows not to close the garage door on your car.

And if feasible impulse the garage door opener too( backup plan to remove Murphy’s law)

I believe Alternative uses a shop called Diamond Fabrication for most of this kind of work. Might want to just reach out to them directly. From what I've seen their work is top notch.

Hey neighbor, thanks for the lead. I'll reach out to them and see what they say. Even if they quoted $1299, it would still be the cheapest so far :)
