These riders and their bikes amaze me but I can’t bring myself to watch TT anymore. So...many...deaths.

RIP to this rider and the others who will follow.

That's sad news. I feel so bad for his wife. Sounds like he had so much going for him. :(

RIP Daley.

Was just talking about the TT with my wife telling her that it’s on my bucket list. Would love to sit downtown and drink a pint while racers scream past me at ungodly speeds.

It's so crazy that these riders can go so much faster per lap, but the bikes just can't handle it. Even on the top of the mountain hill over looking the water doing over 165mph the rear of the bikes are dying for traction and slapping riders all over the place. It's amazing these guy don't react, get scared or back off for one second!!

Concrete walls, tree's, houses, mountain sides and mile markers... No safety anything.

Last year zero deaths... Odd for this happening unfortunately was due

It's not the bikes, it's the fact that they're on unprepped, public roads.

Attending this event is a bucket list item for me. But, you have to plan years in advance.

You cannot panic when s bike becomes unsettled. You have to know the machine and allow it to be an extension of yourself. If you back off the throttle at 160mph+ with the bike dancing under you, it will toss you. You cannot allow fear dictate your actions at that speed. You have to be fully aware and calculated in every move.

I had to keep that in mind when I had my Yamaha FZ1, and that was just on twistie roads doing 70-80. The TT race on Man is... ****ing bonkers.
