Anyone know the size difference between stockers(non-svtpp) vs. FRPP Racing sways in this kit.

I wonder why the rear vert is 4mm smaller than the coupe? Something to do with the weight?

Still not enough for me to do it now...I'll do lowering springs and related stuff and get back to that...I'd rather lower it first with correct add ons for that such as LCA and UCA, etc...before I do the sways. I'm not going to race it..just need it dropped a bit.

Thanks everyone!

That's why I went with the H&R over others- larger in the front and rear. Not hollow (hollow reduces the effective stiffness) either.

Looking at the chart above:

So mine is the stock 2012 "Performance Pack" suspension & it doesn't address/include the 2011/2012 Performance Pack or the difference's in the 2013/2014 setup.

Thinking the rear sway bar size on mine is probably 25mm [same as a Boss 302] and guessing the front is probably a tad larger too, say 35mm?

Being OEM, guessing both "hollow" too...

If my sizes are correct, for being a SVTPP, then really there are no larger kits [Bolt-On/Plug-n-Play] out there except for the Laguna Seca Version?
Or just Hotchkis up front?

Or should I just stick to simply swapping out the rubber bushings for polyurethane from either Prothane or Energy Suspension including upgrading the end-links to polyurethane?

Its a good place to start. I tried looking through some press info on the 2011 SVT Package but they all just say stiffer anti roll bars.

I've got the multi-hole BMRs (adjustable) front and back. Way more control than the SVTPP set up. I don't believe there are larger sways out there.

That's what I was finding too, kinda annoying this information on SVTPP version isn't readily available.

Plus I keep forgetting to measure the front & rear sway bar diameters, with my electronic inside/outside caliper tool/gage, every time I'm underneath the car.

I just read your "mods" list-

You got the rear under control using BMR all-around, thanks for the tip.

11-12 SVTPP car came factory with the sway bars shown in that kit, they just didn't come with the poly and greaseable bushing in that kit. So if you already have a 11-12 SVTPP car you can just purchase the M-5490-HWB bushing kit and your done.

That data is in my 2012 GT500 owner manual supplement. The sway bar diameters are 33.2 mm front (coupe and vert, standard and SVTPP) and 23 mm and 24 mm, respectively, for the standard and SVTPP coupes and 23 mm and 22 mm, respectively, for the standard and SVTPP verts. Why the SVTPP has a smaller bar than the standard version in the verts doesn't seem logical, but that's what in the manual. It's also got the spring rate, but they are in N/mm if anyone is curious about those. The standard vert has the lowest rates of the different models, with the SVTPP vert and standard coupe having the same springs rates, while the SVTPP coupe are a good bit higher. I would doubt the 2011 is different.

Oh, hey...

Wish I could have looked there, but I left mine, binder/manual/supplements, sealed in the original factory wrap with date stamp since day one.
Call me anal, but thought it has some value if left sealed...

Didn't realize there's a complete kit, was just going to "piece-meal" a kit via individual components... but yeah, M-5490-HWB makes it simple.

You can download pdf versions of them off the Ford website. Much easier to search stuff using the find feature in adobe and you can leave your printed versions untouched. I can't remember half the commands in the navigation system, so I have to refer to them periodically. I have nav in my F-150 too, and of course, they use different commands.

Energy Suspension makes a bunch of universal bushings, also with grease zerks. I had changed out the bushings on my rear bar previously because nothing else fit with my watts link and even the OEM bar rubbed the watts link frame on full droop of the suspension. When BMR introduced its rear bar, it looked like it would clear, and it did, so now I have no interference with the watts link.

I can confirm the 2012 SVTPP rear bar is 24mm on my coupe, just put a 25mm eibach bar on the other day and its barely any bigger lol, but I paid less for the whole setup then just the upgraded FRPP hardware so im good with it lol
