Sorry if you drink milk from a ****ing cow you contribute to this bullshit everyday! How do you think they get the milk?? It's not like it's all sweet and cute taking EVERY calf from their mother at birth so you all can drink that shit. It takes a new born calf from birth weight to a few hundred pounds in no time but yes its good for us to drink. Alright rant over proceed to hate haa.

The process of taking the calf from the mother is the same, period bro. The only species on earth that sucks from another mammals tit. All you man. I'm good no matter what ridiculous shit you can come up with

No sir I am all good these days my friend. I just think its funny that no matter what they show at places like that, the majority of people just look the other way and grab the next box of bullshit because the next guy did. But most will research the shit out of if "i use this on my car will it work", but not where does this come from and does it do anything for me other than taste "good". I mean we evolve or can evolve ourselves better than any species on earth but when it comes to food we just act like " I don't see it so it's must be good.
Now I will go ahead and say yes I am plant based as **** but I also still hunt and fish when I get the chance and yes because of our sorry asses that isn't always the best it could be but like I said its all you or whoever makes there own choices but damn do some real research sometimes and not follow the "heard"...

He’s got a good point though. In big farm industry this treatment is well documented across the board. Not that I still wouldn’t like to see all these idiots drug by a truck then left in a field for animals to pick at, but we all do contribute to it.

Short of eating vegan which I frankly won’t do, the best alternative would be source locally if possible where smaller farms are probably giving much better living conditions and treatment then that of large scale farm animals. The down side is cost goes up with that but you likely get much better quality anyway.

I watched the video, and one thing that caught my eye is that they keep using some of the same footage again and again. 3 month investigation and that's all the footage you got. I'm not defending any of what I saw as humane, but with a giant farm and 3 months to secretly tape a bunch of cheap labor, that's all they got? Low priced labor smoking pot? Wow, cant find that anywhere else in the rural communities, or urban for that matter, can you? If you work with more than 50 people, better not look around your own house too close. I didn't just watch the video, I looked the whole thing up. Owner quickly took responsibility. You can bet there will be structural changes. What you have to remember is those calves being abused by staff are money to the owner. If you worked for me and I found out you were burning 100s when I wasn't watching, you wouldn't have a job much longer. I have nothing to do with this company, but they have grown a massive footprint in the area, and with that growth comes some errors. I don't buy their product as I don't see the value in the extra cost, but this looks more like a hit job on a company than a wide spread problem.

Well its up to them to publicly own up to it and prove things have changed, by no means should it be easy for a company to rebound after shit like that was let to happen.

Seriously have you ever been on youtube? I mean not everything is real but for **** sake you think its not happening other than a few videos that actually get on the news? Because people don't abuse kids until it's gets on the news right. Zyborg said it, it's a "process" they are numbers that make numbers pure and simple.

"Do some research," well there wasn't any proof that this farm was abusive to the animals until the video surfaced so I don't know what to tell you boss.

Hit job? Maybe. Still doesn't excuse what's been going on and the fact that it would still be going on had they not gotten it on video. It was never handled by ANYone internally and that's piss poor. As for the weed, I don't recall seeing anyone in here even mention that, not really a big deal. The focus was on the abuse.

Posted on a local forum and saw someone mention this:

fairlife Statement on Animal Care

Valued Fans and Friends of fairlife,
We have become aware that an animal rights activist group (ARM) went undercover at one of our dairy suppliers, Fair Oaks Farms, earlier this year. ARM has recently released an animal abuse video and held several press conferences to make their findings public.
As part of our core values of responsible farming and animal care, we at fairlife LLC are taking this incident very seriously. We and Fair Oaks Farms are taking the following steps:
  • Immediately suspend milk deliveries from the dairy identified in the video to fairlife;
  • Fair Oaks Farm has terminated the four individuals identified in the video that did not adhere to the farm’s stringent animal welfare practices;
  • As outlined in a letter from Dr. Mike McCloskey at Fair Oaks Farms, they have provided the video to local Indiana law enforcement to review for potential criminal charges against the individuals involved;
  • Fair Oaks Farms commissioned an independent auditor, Food Safety Net Services Certification & Audit (FSNS C&A), recommended by the National Milk Producers’ Federation, to conduct an audit of animal welfare practices at the identified farm. Those results are public and will be made available at www.fofarms.com;
  • Fair Oaks Farms has committed to conduct independent, unannounced and random audits and install video surveillance to ensure the highest levels of animal care are maintained;
  • Until these new assurances are in place, no milk from the dairy in the video will be included in fairlife LLC products.

The dairy identified in the video represents less than 5 percent of fairlife’s total milk supply. Approximately 30 dairies support fairlife; therefore, we are visiting all supplying dairies in person and conducting independent 3rd party audits within the next 30 days to verify all animal husbandry practices at the farms, including all training, management and auditing practices. We will also continue to work with Fair Oaks Farms to ensure specific actions are taken to address this situation and uphold our high standards for animal care.
Please reach out to us with any questions about this matter. For information specific to Fair Oaks Farms’ response to this matter, please see their statement or contact [email protected].
With best regards,

I try to source locally, and the vegan argument is void if doing it to not take animal life. Tons of (smaller) animals are killed during the growing/harvesting of produce consumed by vegans, and everyone else. You just don't eat the animals killed in the process unlike with livestock.

Not saying you specifically, I just always hear this asinine argument from vegans.

Buddy of mine owns one of, if not the largest dairy in northern IL. I worked there for years when I was younger. Their cows and calves are treated like gold. Fresh feed 3 times a day, fans, fresh water, and even massage machines that the cows can stand under to itch their backs.
Having worked that job, that video made me sick.

If people actually saw this shit I guarantee more people would be conscious of the food they eat. The way that animals are treated in the name of corporate farming is disgusting.

Grabber, nice find and post. I still think the owner should be fined for o QA/QC and just hiring shit bags off the street. Additionally, it’s still not right that they’re in 100+ temps, across from the Mother’s, WTF?
