Thanks for responding. My son doesn’t have lots of money and I heard the Truck engine might be considerably cheaper. We don’t know yet how bad his engine is hurt. It locked up. He had too much pulley for 91. So, when he gets a bit more money we will get it diagnosed. I didn’t know how much different the truck motors are
Roush TVS, 79 mm pulley, E85
If it's locked up it's probably toast.
if you're dead set on using a truck motor, then the 15-17 would be your best starting point so you'll still have most of the Gen2 upgrades. You'll have to reuse your Mustang cams (maybe phasers too?) since the Gen2 trucks have a different firing order. You'll also need to reuse your intake manifold since the trucks are speed density. Mustang front cover too.
Pretty sure all Coyotes are the same firing order, and people upgrade to the Mustang cams for power not because they have to. Also, truck manifolds are interchangeable with the Mustang manifolds. Thirdly, he won't be using any manifold since the car it's going into has a PD blower.
