In internet world every demon runs 9.65@140. Ive probably seen 10 to 1 demons and hellcats run 1 full second slower than their advertised ability and at least 5mph slower than listed.

At 6:20, the roll race shows an 808hp car barely pull 1/2 a car on a 617hp HEAVIER (25lbs) car. Said heavier car is also an awd car with more parasitic drivetrain loss. Probably a 250whp+ difference here.
32hp is doing 0 for a propulsion at 800hp. Tops .75mph and maybe .025 seconds being hugely generous.
GT500 should be fine against demon.
~700whp zl1 auto vs ~ 730whp demon auto
690whp gt500 with a dct will do just fine
It’ll be about 100lbs lighter than the demon, it’ll be able to hook much easier than the demon, and if the rev limiter is higher than the 7500rpm redline, it’ll also have about 25-50hp on top of the 760hp just by revving it out.

First off, demon wasn’t even in its higher/race HP setting. It was in the 808hp configuration, not the 840.
Second, stock Demons on the 808hp setting are usually putting down 700ish rwhp and 675ish reto.
Third, the ZL1 in that video put down 723rwhp and 765rwtq.
That’s around 20-25 more rwhp and 90 more rwtq!
Then there is this (same ZL1 vs 967rwhp C7 corvette and a 700rwhp much much lighter 135i):
