It’s good! Honestly it’s a bit of a hack job! I just keep on driving it! It can be done so much better than that. But if it were done better maybe I don’t drive it as much. Or maybe I don’t beat the crap out of it like I do! I am about to buy the cobra ‘r’ brembo brakes. My commute is going back up to 30 miles, so we’ll see how she handles that!

Tires spinning because 225’s!
I should qualify this by adding that I really don’t know how to launch the Daddywagon. With the cobra irs if I had sticky tires and launched properly things would start to break. So I just peel out everywhere I go with 225/50r17’s. I might hang 245/45r17’s on another set of wheels as track day wheels.

Daddy Wagon is looking good! The Cobra R brakes are a nice upgrade. You can never have "too much" braking power. ;)
Thanks! I have a vision in my mind where this wagon is completely cosmetically restored. Also I still have upgrades planned. T56 is now at the top of my list. The cobra brakes that are currently on the wagon will be put to good use on the 1994 mustang convertible I picked up last month.

I have decided that the tr3550 needs to go. I am having trouble shifting it into second gear. Whether up or down-shifting second gear is a pain in the a€£! I am gonna have to save for the 6-speed.

No. Not hardly. Shifting into second is just a pain. Something is worn out or not adjusted right. Also I really notice the gap to overdrive. A second overdrive gear would be really nice there. First gear is just a blip to get the car going and it’s done. I think the thing to bear in mind is I use the car on the street. It’s a cruiser. A lot of highway commuting too. The torque pull at highway speeds in top gear is a lot of fun. I really enjoy that.

I somehow missed this thread until just now. I recently picked up this shirt from Car Throttle. Maybe you should make a new version of it with the daddy wagon :D
