Do you have a picture of the optional Gurney Flap for the base car?

I do. Here's one you won't find, a shot of the underside of the flap.

And one from the exposed face...

I hope that Ford offers the Gurney Flap as an over the counter part. It's the only part of the handling package that I am interested in buying. I don't hold out much hope of that happening, they don't offer the GT350 Gurney Flap as an over the counter part.
Thanks again for the pictures.

It'll be available from Ford Parts and Service. If they want a VIN, you can always find one online. I've done this before with Mike at Autonation - just grab one online from a window sticker. It may be ridiculously expensive though.

Hopefully they will have it available before my car goes into production and I can compare prices between the handling package and the stand-alone Gurney Flap. I may just have to opt in on the handling package and then sell the parts I don't need.

Trying to get a part number. I'll let you know what I can come up with as I don't see anything online.

It looks like the flap may require drilling the spoiler, I wonder if the base car is ordered with the Handling Package, the spoiler comes drilled. I guess the only way to find out is to wait and see if Ford lists two different spoilers in their parts system.

I wondered where you were going with this and pondered the same thing.

Interestingly enough, the 2019 GT350 use the exact same swing spoiler and Gurney Flap (if specified) as the 2020 base and Handling Package GT500's. I believe I have seen 2019 GT350's that didn't come with the Gurney Flap but did have the threaded inserts in the spoiler. That would indicate only one part number instead of two and seems logical.

I wish they had stealth mode. Sometimes you don't want to announce your presence.

They weren't advertised for sale to dealers, they contacted me. If someone came and offered you 25% more for your house than what its worth, would you say no?

No.

Get the **** out of here with your bullshit. Me hurting consumers? Yeah. That's what I do.

Of course!

You don't think selling a car to another dealer over cost so that cost gets carried on to the end consumer is hurting the consumer?

That's ignorant at best.

You already proved my point that Ford dealers care more about making money on a few cars than they do making longtime customers happy.

Your last sentence is coming from the top(BOT) - down at Ford. Probably the most(worst) it's ever been.

I bet the customer who got a car was happy.

If i had the money today id pay adm to have the one of the first ones.

My neighbor spent almost 80k on his 16 gt350 and was ecstatic to have it.

1. ALL of my cars have been available to SVTP members and the public at extremely competitive prices.
2. The dealers reached out to me when they saw my cars listed online at MSRP, and asked what they could buy them for and I threw out some numbers, they agreed.
3. What's ignorant, is telling them I would be unwilling to sell them at any dollar amount, as I have 50 families that depend on my ability to make money and keep the doors open.
4. Your last statement isn't correct. Where the **** have you been? I've explained MULTIPLE times that my profits per car have declined 15-20%, BUT my volume has gone up 45%.
5. Thanks for all of your contributions to the site, ten years and won't even pay for a Premium Membership to keep things going eh?

That's what I was telling my wife last night, right after I explained to her how you wanted me to put all of this in writing so I didn't back out o_O

For all inquiring minds, my reputation is worth more to me than anyone would be willing to pay for a car, so no worries, your deals are set in stone.

My grandpa taught my dad that a man is worth nothing if it's not for his word, and my dad passed the teaching right on down to me.

Now you're just blowing smoke up my ass.
Actions speak louder than words, and those actions speak loud and clear on integrity. If a man does not have integrity, he is a hypocrite.

You were raised with a very good moral background. Keep passing those ethics down. After all, your legacy is not in what you have, but in who you are. How do you want to be remembered by those that love you?

1. Not sure how you can say competitive prices but admit yourself you sold them way more than they were worth and sold others at msrp...that makes no sense.
2. Yes, they were suckers, we get that.
3. You say ignorant, I call it integrity.
4. Fact is that base GT500, with nothing else, is 3k profit for dealer. I know options don't add much, but your $1,000 dealer prep makes it 4k.
5. Yes, I should pay to be mocked and put down and to listen to you try and justify why dealers charge more than the product manufacturers suggest...sounds like a great idea.

Last time I checked, Ford ensures there is a reasonable dealer profit when selling any Ford vehicle as MSRP...again, anything above that is greed, no matter how much you want to justify it.

When you pay an ADM, that ADM is gone as soon as you drive off the lot as there is no inherent value in them.
