Any Plans for Modifications Yet?

I am already starting to compile a list of things that I want to change. They are all cosmetic as I probably won’t change anything mechanical until others have tested them.
  • Rear spoiler - The base model spoiler looks kind of cheap to me and I am not a huge fan of the CFTP spoiler. I am wondering how the GT350R spoiler would look on this car.
  • Wheels - Swap out the base model wheels for something that looks like the CFTP wheel and fits a wider tire both front and rear.
  • Shift knob - I am hoping MGW or someone else comes up with an alternative to the Ford Fusion transmission knob. I would like to see something that looks high quality in billet aluminum or something. I don’t care if it adds 10lbs to the car.
  • Grill - Swap out the cobra for a smaller version and place it on one side of the grill.
Does anyone else have anything planned already?

I think you're already getting that wing?

Me:
Take 1 or 2 snakes off it.
Paint a spare decklid black
Several ideas for "GT500" bumper insert

Wheels; I can see changing down the road. I will wait for future MY's to choose from. Gonna need tire money cause this car will probably be the highest mileage '20 gt500 in a wide area...

Some type of protection film on hood/front? TBD.

Oil separator for sure. I like the idea of the GT500 bumper inserts, I'm thinking red would look good on my iconic silver and match the brembo's

Depending on the quality of the oem floor mats, I will replace those..Look into a pulley and tune setup once reputable testing has been done. Tint the windows 5%. Other than that not much more than cosmetic things as they come about.

I a pretty sure the CFTP runs a wider rim and tire. The base model looks like they are tucked in a little.

Edit: Not sure if there is a size difference between the base and CFTP. I am looking back at a post from 50 Deep on being able to run a 315 or 325 square setup with an aftermarket rim.

Base wheels run a 315 tire on the rear on what I assume is the same size “wheel” run in the 315 tires the carbon fiber wheels reside in.

3:73 or 4:10's I haven't decided yet

Does it not come with 3.73s stock or maybe I am wrong?

I want to pick up a used handling/tech pack (non carbon) car in a few years

•swap to single 80mm turbo @ 8-10psi (set for high rpm breathing, not low rpm spook or heavy hit-linear boost progression with a smart gate.)
•put higher revving stage 3 cam in it ~8500rpm
•find a way to pull 250lbs out
•350r spoiler
•light enough cheaper aftermarket wheels
•nt01 or r888 square setup

No drag radials, and just an honest 750whp at high rpm. Pull torque down to maybe 600wtq. All in tuning. I want less boost at 5000-6000rpm than the sc setup has.

I’ll probably pick up a gt350 instead because I really prefer a stick, but may swing for a gt500 if they are in the $50k range in a few years and the dct has been found to hold up really nicely.

Why not do the same thing with a S550 Mustang GT 5.0?

1 Ceramic coating
2 clear bra up front
3 Shift knob upgrade when they come out with one
4 Replace as much plastic under the hood to matching paint or carbon fiber especially the coolant overflow looks cheap and out of place
5 grill insert could be nice

I’m sure like most I won’t stop once I start but would like to keep mostly stock just some appearance and protect stuff
