Well this is kinda depressing. I probably average a case a week and at that rate it comes out to 117 gallons of beer per year.

Is it strange that I cut back to an avg of 12 beers during work days, and then whatever on the weekend, and have managed to lose 7lbs? I'm now 170 (5'9)

Guess I was drinking excessively. Whoops

60 gallons = 7680oz = 640 12oz beers = 26.6 cases(24pk).

Not bad, solid month of drinking there for some.

I don't think I drink 6 gallons a year. Maybe two years. Yeah, I am a lightweight.

Are you eating? LOL....There was a guy that only drank beer for lint, breakfast, lunch and dinner, no food, just beer and he lost 30+ lbs during lint.

So funny thing about that. Wife loves to eat but she's tiny. Like tiny frame. Short. With gigantic attachments (au natural light too)

I never realized how fat she was making me. She was loading me down with snacks for work and a big lunch. Then make a big dinner when we get home. I had to tell her to let me survive off a protein bar in the morning. A coffee. And then a lite lunch. The big dinners were fine as long as I fasted during the day. It's been 6-12 months since I was 170 on a scale.

She blamed it on the beer. I blamed it on her love of snacks lol.

60 gallons of beer is roughly 19 liters of pure alcohol per year.

The average belorussian drinks roughly 18 liters of pure alcohol per year, but this is per capita.

Congratulations you drink more than the average Belorussian teenager. (barely)

I could never get drunk off beer no matter how much I drank at "parties" in my college days. But you get a nice big belly from all the extra calories.

Then tried Stroh 80 (European labeling) once at a party house near the campus that had a cathedral ceiling with exposed beams. Stroh 80 is known as Stroh 160 in USA. Well I had a little glass of that and a couple of minutes later I was swinging from the cathedral beams monkey bar style with the heads of the people dancing in the living room just below my feet lol! I can vaguely remember getting on the mezzanine and jumping across and grabbing on to the nearest beam.

Stroh - Wikipedia

These days I drink almost zero beer and about 365 gallons of water per year. I might have a beer or glass of wine once or twice a year.

pretty weak for wisconsin there bud.. ha

Compared to some people it is! To some people that's a lot of beer drinking. I do get into some rum now and again when beer takes too long for the desired effect.

I don't do much, if any, weeknight drinking. Job is boring enough, if I'm tired or a bit hung over it's brutal.

My average is approximately 1,000 pints per year. How many gallons is that?
How do you know? I’ve got the keg caps which I date with a sharpie. The original intent is to know when the keg was tapped. The side benefit is knowing how how I consume them.

I was estimating off my daily consumption. That is excluding wine, rye, rum, tequila etc.

Worked for these guys for 19+ years, left just before they were bought out.
gettyimages-50807151-1024x1024-1.jpg

Prior to my being hired, ( 1989 ), drinking on shift was allowed, they had coolers in the breakrooms.
Because it was in the union contract, EVERYONE got ( 2 ) cases per month. ( 24 )
If we had a month without an accident - ( 1 ) case of beer.
New product came out, ( 1 ) case of samples.
Holidays, ( 1 ) case of beer, each holiday
Brewery hit a record shipping #, ( 1 ) case of beer.
Corp. hit 80, 90, 100 million barrels of production, ( 1 ) case for each.
Never remember my house being cluttered with EXCESS beer, it went somewhere !!
